I doubt anyone here considers ALL American conservatives to be avowed racists, ca, but that is not as important as the fact that just about EVERY avowed racist in America embraces the American conservative position. As far as those avowed racists are concerned...the American conservative movement is the one they feel does the most for them...the American conservative movement is the one they support.

How many avowed racists are there in American and what power do they have? But I understand, white people feel they have protection within the Democratic Party from being called a racist no matter the policies they support.

The truth is the act of creating a thread about the left being smarter, is a tacit understanding that you believe they are. The article is pretty lame. You will not see a thread saying you rightys are not smarter than the left and here is why. It is because they are not and they know it.
 
It's always the job of the left to be the grownup in the room and try to understand the other side right? The right can wish for our cleansing all they want and tell us to go die, then post some pictures of the first black president hanging from a noose, but the only response from the left should be to try and understand these fragile and complicated souls.

The article is good. I think more than half the people on here commenting on it have not read it. The gist of the article is that if liberals do not start acting like they used too instead of consistently whining about Hillary losing, the will almost ensure a re-election of Trump. The Professor who wrote it does not want that. He is trying to stop that.

He is dirt...and he is an existential threat to our Republic and the world.

But...like the poor jerks in 1920's German...the only way to get that across to people like you is to allow it to play out.

Sure thing Frank. Ultimately you miss the point which is what I wrote previously. People use the term racist to try and shut others down from speaking and for perceived political advantage.

As for racist...I offer people like George Wallace, Strom Thurmond, Jesse Helms...and the many southern racist politicians who switched from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party after the LBJ civil rights legislation.

We cannot work this out, ca...and it may well be my fault.

I am convinced that Donald Trump...and American conservatism...are the most destructive thing that has ever happened to humanity.

For what it is worth, I suspect your side is going to win. (Hence the "We've lost...they've won" thread of mine.)

Too bad for America...too bad for the planet Earth.

One of those times I truly wish I am wrong about who wins.
