31% Of Americans Believe Civil War On Horizon

What scares me is who comes after Trump. A dim usually replaces a republican after 8 years and those elected seem to be getting more and more extreme. Will we elect a violent antifa in 2024 who'll sign EO's to open borders to all who will be entitled to full medical and welfare benefits without working a day?

Yet you support the most extreme President yet who is pushing the pendulum farther right than ever.

Of course whomever follows will push it the other way.

Why do you love discord?

I don’t see it happening.

It takes arms and ammo to start an actual war [as opposed to the Twitter variety lol] and the majority of people on one side don’t have much in the way of them. Could we see unrest? Absolutely.

War? I highly doubt it.

You are a fool to think the left doesn't own guns.

To be fair I understand their angst. The world has irreversibly changed since I was a kid. Some good things have been lost but life goes on with or without us and those who are best adapted to change will fair the best.

A point I keep explaining to liberals is that despite losing elections it is they who have driven the national agenda since before WWII. The only significant wins for Conservatives has been tax cuts. Even our military growth has been spurred by liberal internationalism and our leadership role in the world and not by isolationist or nationalist politics.

What we have seen in the last 75 years has been a massive tide of progress that is occasionally reigned in by conservative backlash but that progressive tide keeps rolling inexorably on and those who try to stop it have just simply been dragged out to sea.

Who are you, and what have you done with the Ohioan?

damn what a hateful and stupid post that was.

I've often said "bring it on," but I agree with you, I don't see it happening either.
Most liberals live in the cities, most conservatives live in rural areas and that's where
a fight will take place. Hell, many city folk don't even know the difference between a
Maple tree and a Pine tree. We rural folk know our land well, we hunt it, we farm it and
we won't be sitting at home waiting for someone to knock on our doors. We won't take
it to the cities, they'll have to bring it to us, they sure as hell won't "kick our ass" in
our own back yards and woodlands. Add that to the fact that most of us rural folk are
already gun owners (and most of us are proficient with our firearms), they are in for a
steep uphill battle that they cannot win.

keep believing that gomer

Could be , but realistic. hrc in one of her speeches she gave as a cover for one of her bribes called for open borders as revealed by wikileaks.
Of course she refused to comment on that once it was exposed. And now we have elected politicians praising violence.

Post like these are amazing at getting those with poor thinking skills to self identify themselves.

Come on folks! This is Rasmussen! A self admitted biased organization. They only called 1,000 people on landlines! Who under 60 has a landline? Hell who under 70 has a landline?

70% of the same sample probably still believe there were WMD’s in Iraq and that only atheists believe in evolution and were about to be invaded by Canada.

If you believe we’re on the verge of a Civil War you’re a moron who watches to much Fox News.

you are familiar with the theory of unintended consequences, right? what on earth makes you think that civil war is not possible at all?

Don't you ever wonder what it must be like to live in constant fear like those ppl do? I can't even imagine.

if you didn't live in constant fear, you would stop voting D and vote 3rd party. but you DO live in constant fear of what the other side will do, so you continue to vote for one half of the evil in this country. don't lecture, you're still a sheeple

The notion that a civil war is silly for this reason. If any political faction in this nation were to commit themselves to organize violence all other factions would forget their grievances, unite and wipe them out.

well at least this much of your drivel makes sense. that the majority of people will indeed panic and demand that government stop violence that isn't about their own objective. See, most people aren't afraid of violence, so long as that violence is used to pursue their own ideology.
