Ok, now that I've heard both, I believe Kavanaugh is telling the truth.

Again, it's not his job to prove what is already presumed. He's innocent until you provide some evidence that proves some guilt. Anything! For fuck's sake! Her story ain't enough. Anyone can say anything. None of the people she claimed backed up her story. It's not credible. LOL you guys are so fucking lame.
An inquiry and the other witnesses testifying would establish accuracy of testimonies. He sure balked at the mention of July 7 brewskis with Judge, PT. It would be nice to know if he did drink and forget things or if he was a choir boy.

'An unmitigated disaster': Trump's allies aim fury at prosecutor Rachel Mitchell's questioning of Christine Blasey Ford

Allies of President Donald Trump criticized of Rachel Mitchell's questioning of professor Christine Blasey Ford at Thursday's Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.

Mitchell was the prosecutor brought in by Republicans to question both Ford and Judge Brett Kavanaugh during the high-stakes hearing.

The hearing focused on Ford's allegation that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in the early 1980s.

"She didn't even attempt to poke holes in the many inconsistencies in Ford's story," a Republican strategist close to the White House told Business Insider.

I think they fired her on the spot when she started questioning Kavanaugh.

.. but Kavanaugh is innocent because he 'swore to God.'

:palm: mindless

I'm not saying Dr. Ford is lying or something didn't happen to her. I just think she's mistaken on who abused her.

Senator Graham made some very good points about corroboration that don't support Dr. Ford's testimony.
I'm not a lawyer, a prosecutor. I have no experience in the legal process. I'm just using my 70 years on this planet interacting with other humans.

My intuition is telling me that Kavanaugh is telling the truth. I'm no fan of Trump (duh) but to call Kavanaugh guilty because of my disdain for Trump would be disingenuous.
Kavanaugh words, emotions, reactions are the actions of a man telling the truth. I don't care if this is a victory for Trump. I care about justice.

Whatever happened to Dr. Ford is horrible and never should've happened but ruining Kavanaugh's life, career, family over sketchy allegations is wrong.
And I was wrong for initially thinking he was guilty. I should've waited until I heard both of them today before reaching an opinion.

A confident man who is telling the truth don't have to come out all belligerent and crying, yelling out in court, can't get himself under control, and start blaming Hillary for the problems he got himself into.

Sure he's embarrassed his drunken and sexually frustrated teenage past caught up with him, and everybody knows it now.
But to take no ownership of the problem and just deny his ass off just means he is a liar with a temper, and wants to win at any cost.

He was a little lumber-headed rich kid in High School, unpopular with the girls that knew him, couldn't get laid, a sloppy drunk who couldn't hold his liquor or behave himself around girls- so he had to take his frustration out on girls by forcing his drunk self off on them!

Sure he is going to deny it and blame it on Hillary! He's a fucking Republican- Which was about the only thing I got out of this today!

Just another typical Republican crybaby looking to blame others- women in particular!

Be honest. Is there anything he could've said or done or acted to make you think he was innocent?

Or did you already convict him in the court of your mind?

Well, I thought he could be innocent- until today!

He proved to me he was guilty as charged today! I have never seen anyone act the way he did while trying to claim innocence!

The guilt was written on his face ear to ear!

Blaming Hillary! LOL! What a joke!

This is very intellectually honest of you to say. Its not easy to do in today's hyper partisan world, so I thank you for reaching an honest conclusion.

Ford is so fragile it's hard to say what she thinks is true or not.

and in the spirit of "I was wrong" I was probably too hard on her testimony as well.
I hate to see what is obviously a good man smeared out of what could be an outstanding SCOTUS

all of which shows that going back 35 years with no physical evidence and no supporting testimony,
and theraputic recalled memory is a fools chase when it comes to establishing anything factual.

This^. Even if you believe Ford, and I honestly feel bad for her going through this, there is just no corroborating evidence. This was at a public party. If this happened other people would have at least heard about it, or been able to place people at the scene.

It's not his job as the defendant to prove his innocence. Also, he has no authority to call for an FBI investigation. Why don't the lawmakers call for it? They are in a position to do it. That they won't do it themselves, yet they goad a man who can not do it tells you the whole story. This is fucking theater!

Its not a trial .... He should ask the FBI to investigate unless he's guilty. He's a liar with a drinking problem.

WHY DOESN'T KAVANAUGH ASK FOR AN FBI INVESTIGATION .. BECAUSE HE HAS SOMETHING TO HIDE.

NO REPUBLICAN WANTS KAVANAUGH TO HAVE AN FBI INVESTIGATION, NOR TAKE A POLYGRAPH.

How do you account for that before you conclude that he's innocent?

And if the investigation shows no proof of the allegations, then what??

thank you for your honesty. i misjudged you. i think a lot of this heats up both sides to an absurd degree. from here on out you have my respect as I can see you are a standup poster to admit something like that at such a heated and partisan time. I will try to treat you with that respect going forward. we need more posters like you here.
