Then again, it probably all makes sense, Putin was a help for him in 2016 so why piss him off heading into 2020, especially since Trump has already invited foreign involvement into the election

I don't think he is an idiot at all, he knows what he is doing, as I said, why piss off Putin over his assistence in 2016 with 2020 just ahead, regardless of the consequences. In Trump's world, Trump comes first

Tensions are growing between Trump and Putin now.

Putin has been watching Donald Trump try to steal his Natural Gas customers in Eastern Europe, and he can't be happy with that.

And Putin sure can't be happy with Trump pulling us out of the Iran Deal and rattling sabres with the Iranians.

And he can't be too happy about Donald Trump being so stupid as to be caught so red handed in his attempts at conspiring with Russia to win the election of 2016 as laid out in Mueller's Report!

The only caveat he likes is the fact that Donald Trump is still an idiot who has divided us all up, harming our leadership role in the world,harming our relationship with our allies, harming our trust in our government and our Democratic processes, and has created a horrible trade war with the rest of the world.

You gotta know that Putin is loving every minute of that!
