Funny. Those that benefit by 'Meritocracy' ... always want their children and grandchildren to get a 'head start'. (any idea how to fix that?)
Bring back the Death Tax and the draft, but allow them to choose Americorps, Peace Corps or Dept of Health rather than the military. Raising kids well and getting them through college is great, but after that, they need to pull themselves up by their own bootstraps. Better baseline funding of all public schools, eliminate vouchers.
Trust Funds, UGMA (Uniform Gift to Minors Act), Inherited IRAs, to name just a few vehicles the Ownership Class uses to transfer wealth. It seems like your heart is in the right place though.
