As usual, mostly taking credit for the Obama economy. Jobs growth has actually been slowing under Trump. Also the economy has been slowing. Trump supporters are completely delusional.

There are varying economic forecasts out there but not all suggest growth will continue to slow.


GDP should solidly bump up to 2.9% in 2018 after 2017’s 2.3% pace. Tax cuts will boost GDP through rising consumer spending and stronger business investment. Expanding household income, job gains (albeit smaller than before) and credit utilization are also underpinning consumer spending. Housing construction should pound ahead. Manufacturers will benefit from stronger exports as the global economy improves. However, auto sales will downshift (though they haven’t yet). The effects of a minor trade war—while any slowdown in international trade would likely be small, the uncertainties could create knock-on effects that ding business investment—are growth’s biggest risk.

If Hillary had been elected, we'd see the GOP stonewalling everything she even mentioned, and pushing for impeachment. I might even be supporting impeachment, depending on what she actually did. But, more likely, I'd be pissed at the GOP for their utter refusal to do anything good for the country, much the same reason I'm pissed at them and Trump now.

I wouldn't spend a whole lot of time claiming credit for an economy that never had a year of 3% growth and had the Fed keep rates at zero while boosting the money supply.

Except that that's often what we see from so-called conservatives, often followed by lies and fantasies about Obama. It takes lies and fantasies about Trump to see him as anything but an abomination, and a threat to everything that America stands for.

His personality bugs me, a lot. But he's winning. He's no role model (neither was BJ) but he's doing far better than my expectations. Only because he's turned me around doesn't mean I was with him all along, in fact I'd still vote for Johnson today.
Johnson being elected would have blown up the system also, except in a more refined way.

Gowdy said they already had another Benghazi teed up. She would probably have had 2 going on simultaneously. Repubs have wasted millions on phony Hillary investigations. They did not plan on stopping. It is all political. Justice has nothing to do with it. Mccarthy said the Benghazi investigatios were partisan vehicles to drive down her numbers. It worked. People are suckers. Republicans are huge suckers.
