President Trump has now come out and claimed he is a nationalist.

He said some people are globalists, wanting to improve the whole world, but he is a nationalist, prefering to focus on only the USA.

The problem with that is that the USA is part of the world.

When we improve the world, we improve the USA.

But, of course, if the task seems too daunting, then one might wish to bite off a little less to chew.

If you don't feel that you are up to the task of trying to improve the world, then maybe just improving one country in the world appears easier.

Kind of like admitting defeat on being able to improve the world.

Trump has thus admitted defeat. He has publicly proclaimed that he is inadequate to try to improve the world.

We need world leaders who are up to the task.

Nationalism is the same as Defeatism.

"Invaders" is the exact same rhetoric noted rightwing terrorist Robert Bowers uses.

So let's be clear about what is happening here: Trump, Republican politicians, and rightwing message board posters are reinforcing and validating the rhetoric used by rightwing terrorists.

When rightwing terrorists see Republicans call these refugees "invaders" that must be met with a military response, the terrorists' xenophobic paranoia about these people is vindicated and justified. Even to the point of justifying the murder of Jews who are perceived to be helping the "invaders".

We have been "nation building" since the creation of this nation. We even helped create the poverty we now see in So. America when Reagan was President with his promotion of the growth of the cartels, and the selling of drugs here in the States. And now the right wing wants once again to blame others, and ignore their responsibility for the problem. Then too, they want to eliminate the programs that have been established to help others here, and instead grant 1.5 trillion in assistance for the 1%, and add that to the national debt.

You don't give a shit about others just as your wealthy gawds do not. To you they are just a tool to create more wealth for the few while you whine, and cry, about how bad you have it.
