Pelosi is out saying that an impeachment vote is still an open question but she’s saying the hearing brought out ‘damning’ revelations. I think she’s leaving herself an out and the ‘damning’ bit was intended to keep the natives ginned-up.
Going into this my modest prediction was that unless the televised hearings budge the needle significantly—Pelosi looks for a way out of it. What’s the sense in sending articles to the Senate knowing they will get voted down?
Pelosi may be a loon but she isn’t stupid.

“This email raises a lot of questions. Why would Chris Heinz distance himself from Hunter Biden’s decision to join Burisma’s board in an email to John Kerry’s senior staff at the State Department?”
said Citizens United President David N. Bossie in a statement to the Washington Examiner. “It’s time for Joe Biden to answer questions about his family’s business in the Ukraine and what his own role was in those dealings.”
“These are questions that congressional oversight committees should be demanding answers to,” he added.
Heinz’s spokesperson told the Washington Examiner that he was not involved in the Burisma deal and has not been invested in Rosemont Seneca Partners since 2015.
“Chris Heinz was involved in Rosemont Capital. Through Rosemont Capital, Mr. Heinz owned a minority interest in Rosemont Seneca Partners until 2015,” said Heinz’s spokesperson Chris Bastardi. “Neither Mr. Heinz, nor any business in which he had an interest, was involved in Burisma.”
Heinz was troubled by his partners’ decision to join the Burisma board and immediately took steps to end his business relationship with Biden and Archer, according to a source familiar with the situation.

Well, I meant Pelosi is a shrewd politician—not a good politician in terms of what she’s done for the country—her district is a raging dumpster fire. After this, I may have to re-evaluate the shrewd part lol.
I think she has an out—if she wants to take it. She’s already on record saying impeachment happens in a bipartisan fashion or not at all. She could fall back on that. In fact, if she presses on with a partisan impeachment effort she’s going to violate her own principles.
And yes, that would get messy and cause heads to explode. I think she screwed the pooch with this.

I think democrats did it to themselves. It’s the TDS mindset that Trump is a walking crime factory. It could ONLY be criminal intent when he asked Zelensky for a ‘favor’. But the call transcript absolutely does NOT contain an explicit link to the favors asked of Zelensky and the Biden campaign—or any campaign.
Straight away, Democrats should have realized it would be an uphill battle to link the ‘favors’ to anything having to do with our domestic politics. So they PUT THEMSELVES in the position of having to rely on hearsay, opinions of ambassadors, the WB fiasco where anyone with a lick of common sense knows democrats are covering something up with the WB.
Hunter Biden is a recovering drug addict with a troubled past and he was taken on by Burisma—placed on the board by Burisma, while his dad was playing Obama’s point man in Ukraine—where his duties were to clean up corruption in Ukraine.
If I’m Burisma, I’d kind of like to have Hunter on my board of directors too lol. But democrats have to convince people there’s nothing there, it’s all ‘settled’ etc. The problem is it’s HIGHLY suspicious looking. In fact, that cozy little arrangement should have been shut down under Obama—for that very reason. In fact, it was an issue under Obama but that was before Ukraine became a ‘thing’ and yeah.
Democrats blew through any numbers of stop signs to get to this point. Trump was just being Trump. Actually, he would do himself a favor by staying off Twitter about it and allow democrats to finish hanging themselves while they knock Joe Biden out of the campaign.

Well, it's something I've noticed about Trump is his talent to "box in" his opponents. It's just my perspective. Everything the Dems do to him, backfires on them because of that talent. For instance, releasing the transcript boxed them in. Declaring Jerusalem the capital of Israel boxed in the Palestinians. Tariffs have boxed in the Chinese. My button works ... has boxed in lil' rocketman. Canceling the Iran nuke deal and implementing tariffs has boxed in Iran.
He puts his opponents in a position where every choice for them is bad, and the only good choice is to make a deal with him.
The Dems are currently using the "inquiry" to control the media narrative. Trump uses twitter and almost daily impromptu press conferences to control the media narrative. It is a war and the Media arena is the battlefield. IMO.
