Both have already made public statements of being partial.

What a crock if they are allowed to swear impartiality with no objections.

There must have been no chance for Democrats to object.

Justice is now meaningless.

Oaths are meaningless.
 
They have a system in place to accentuate the solemnity of the occasion. Roberts not only gave them the oath but they have to sign the oath book. How big and important this all is, is being shown. This is no game.

Was there "a system in place to accentuate the solemnity of the occasion" in the house? Did shifty and gonadler take an oath and sign an oath book? This whole clusterfuck is a partisan political operation with a forgone conclusion. The jackasses are the only ones looking at this with any "solemnity", and the only reason they're doing this at all is because there's no one in that candidate clown car that can beat Trump in November

Stupid fuck, the House and the Senate have two different sets of responsibilities and rules when it comes to impeachment. By signing the oath, those fuckers either lied before or are now lying under oath.

He is talking about an oath, they are taking an oath to fulfill the duties of an impartial juror in a Senate trial, which the whole world knows is the last thing Mitch and Lindsey are going to do, they have even admitted such, so they are lying, and again the whole world knows it, even though it won't get as much as a whisper on Fox. Certainly pulls the rug out from beneath Lindsey the next time he goes into one of his phony moral outrages on TV

But that is fine, I'd expect nothing less from the likes of Mitch and Lindsey, plays right into Pelosi's aims, right from the jump the whole Senate "trial" has been exposed itself as a charade, this is just further evidence for public consumption
