NY Times caught blatantly lying about Russia targeting U.S. Soldiers

So, there appears to be no question that the Russians did this. Either Trump knew about it, did nothing, and is now lying, or he didn't know about. Which is way worse.

The White House is not denying the story. They are denying that Trump was briefed. Either way, this happened in March, and we responded by doing..... NOTHING. Another utter disaster by the moron in the White House and his administration.

Literally everyone on all sides denies the story (White House, Russians, Taliban, etc.), which is why you practice ACTUAL JOURNALISM instead of just running stories off of random unsubstantiated gossip from a single anonymous source because it makes the president look bad. Maybe Democrat sources need to consult the National Enquirer to help them improve their garbage standards.

:dunno:

So let's keep track. The devastating Democrat "counterpoints" thus far are:

-an invalid "attack the source" fallacy
-a "blatantly lie about everything that's already common knowledge" blunder.

Off to a great start, brainiacs. :palm:

Is the Wall Street Journal lying, too?

Russian Spy Unit Paid Taliban to Attack Americans, U.S. Intelligence Says

A BUNCH of sources repeated this lie. Does posting more examples of the lie traveling far and wide mean it didn't end up getting debunked? :awesome:

-an "if I provide more examples of the lie being repeated, that proves it was never debunked" fallacy.

:rofl2:

Attacking the source is not refutation. It's a desperate fallacy to avoid the debate. :bs:

All the sources listed directly link to the NY Times articles to which they refer. Next bullshit excuse please.

You need to take your meds.

NY Times caught blatantly lying about Russia targeting U.S. Soldiers
Another day, another embarrassment to what's left of journalism by the NY Times.

Once again, the White House is not denying that this is true, only that they never briefed the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces that the men and women under him were being targeted by Russia.

FACT: Literally every party involved says this is completely made-up, the Russians, the White House, even the Taliban.

FACT: This article fails to meet even basic journalistic standards (two sources, providing ANY independently corroborated details or facts, etc...all missing).

FACT: The NY Times got what few details it DID include wrong, like President Trump or anyone else being briefed on this made-up story.

FACT: The NY Times is notorious at this point for fabricating false stories based on a single "anonymous source."

Try again.

Arminius does not need advice, friendly or unfriendly, Trumper.

Read his posts, then read yours.

Earl, when it's obvious that someone is suffering from mental illness and is delusional, that person needs to take his/her meds.

First of all, no one in this administration denied the story

President Trump literally called it "fake news." :awesome:

Secondly, they all lie about everything, his is nothing new

*They are constantly falsely accused of lying about everything...by pathological Democrat liars. :nono:

The Taliban never said it wasn't true.

And I quote:

"The Taliban's spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, said the terrorist organization had no "such relations with any intelligence agency." He labeled the accusation as an attempt to "defame" the group. “These kinds of deals with the Russian intelligence agency are baseless — our target killings and assassinations were ongoing in years before, and we did it on our own resources,” Mujahid explained. “That changed after our deal with the Americans, and their lives are secure and we don’t attack them."

You were saying? :awesome:

There is no end, to what you will do to defend Trump.

*nothing floridafan won't do to lie about President Trump. :nono:

As this entire post demonstrates.

Floridafan is at least consistent...he is always wrong.

Times.

"Members of the American intelligence community have concluded that members of the Russian intelligence unit offered bounties to Taliban-linked militants if they successfully killed members of the American military, the New York Times reported. The problem, however, is that almost everyone involved in this story says it isn't true. The White House, Russia and even the Taliban have said the Times' story is false."

So tell us what would Biden do about it

If his blackmailing of Ukraine for personal and political gain was any indication, I'd say Biden would try to extort money out of the Russians to keep the whole story secret...if it weren't completely made up to begin with.

This thread is about the utter failure in the White House and the fact that he apparently had no idea that Russia was offering money to assassinate our troops, Traitor.

Wait, President Trump not being briefed about your made-up story means he failed in some way and makes him a traitor? That doesn't even make sense. Nice logic.

Someone's desperate to reach pre-determined conclusions. :rofl2:

And accusations of failure and treachery...from the party of ACORN burning down their own disastrous shit hole cities over a lie, while seceding from the U.S., aiding terrorists, importing illegal immigrants, releasing felons, stealing elections, and imposing martial law over the sniffles?
