Schumer and Pelosi loaded up the stimulus bill with so much Green tripe that it got rejected; which opens the door for Trump to help workers with an EO.

Ah, yes - the extreme partisan prism.

Cuomo was able to open schools not because of poll #'s. But because NY is in awesome shape, because he followed CDC guidelines for reopening and was actually a LEADER throughout this crisis.

Cue old nursing homes talking point.

17 dead in nursing home in Texas. When there’s lots of COVID floating around and people have to go to work, it going to happen.

It’s also going to happen that the average ‘stay’ at a nursing is around 13 months.

Schools aren’t nursing homes. Probably the farthest thing from it. Sweden didn’t lockdown their economy and kept their schools open. I never understood the argument for not opening schools. Maybe because there isn’t one.

Aside from teachers unions and partisan politics.

Sure, sure. Great day for Trump. Unemployment is at 10%. 160,000 Americans are dead. He can't pronounce Yosemite or Thailand. And now he's got his golf buddies showing up at a press conference from his private golf club so they can applaud at his press conference while 50 million Americans are without unemployment benefits and the master of the deal can't get anything done. Meanwhile, Russia has again announced it's support of Trump.

If this is a good day for Trump, I'd hate to see a bad day. Good God, this day is an utter disaster.

Cuomo is polling higher than ever since his daily Covid briefings. It was a gift for him, as NY was about $6 billion in the red before Covid. Now $16 billion, and he gets to make it look like its all Covid.

So yes...this has nothing to do with polling. He basically gave the schools the green light to make their own decisions. Many schools are still struggling with a plan of action.
 
Trumps press conference is the most embarrassing thing I've ever seen. You must be so proud.
