One of the principles of capitalism is the sacredness of contracts and most renters signed a contract. The govt can't simply void the contracts. I realize FDR voided gold clauses in contracts back in 1934 but that was wrong too.

99% of these renters who are not paying COULD pay their rent. But they are counting on "debt forgiveness" and if they get it, people like me who pay their rent and other bills are gonna burn down the country.
