Tax The Rich.

you already do.......how about Stop Giving Free Money to people through the tax program......

The only people getting free money are the wealthy who took PPP money and didn't pay taxes.

You say the top 1%, who owns 99% of the wealth, only pay 40% of the taxes.

Shouldn't they pay 99% of the taxes if they own 99% of the wealth?

Turns out the Left was right about the Right this whole time.

The left isn't right about anything. You've never been right about anything. You're a triggered nutbag who trolls this forum with your simplistic stupidity ad nauseum.

You should kill yourself. No one would care. No one would notice. The world's collective IQ would go up.

For sh*ts and giggles, if we take a step back there is a certain level of political irony here. Stating the obvious, not all progressives are rich and not all conservatives are poor. But as some are fond of saying, the most wealth in this country exists in progressive voting areas. So progressives are saying we should tax ourselves more to be able to redistribute to the poor, less educated, democracy hating deplorables (many of whom we want to die and we want to separate from so we don't need to live near you).

We already redistribute wealth to those deplorables, which is why nearly every single red state is a welfare state that takes more than they contribute.

And when you drill down into those red states, you find that it's the liberal, Democratic urban areas that are paying all the taxes while the podunk trash cosplays rugged individualism.

Georgia is a perfect example of that...the Atlanta metro area pays 53% of the taxes in GA, but only gets 37% of the spending, despite having 52% of the population.

Meanwhile, in the MTG parts of the state, they only pay 47% of the taxes, yet get 63% of the spending.

So it's not about redistributing MORE wealth, it's about redistributing wealth equitably and evenly because it's clearly not right now.

No rich person is ever going to thank you for defending them on JPP.

How did attacking the rich work out for Venezuela? Zimbabwe? South Africa? Cuba? Or any other nation that took Bernie's Marxist advice?

It's obvious you'll never be rich. Or educated. Or have any self awareness. Or have an IQ above room temp.

1) EIC and refundable tax credit is free money......
2) not all wealth is income......the top top 1% of income earners do pay most of the taxes.....the top 50% of income earners pay all of it, including the free money you and others collect from EIC.....how many years has it been since you actually paid any income taxes?.....

Earl, this sounds like a special interest lobbying organization, which is very biased.

The National Taxpayers Union (NTU) is a conservative[4] taxpayers advocacy organization and taxpayers union

^This is why you cannot argue with morons. It's always best to just point at idiots like you and laugh. :palm:

Indeed.

Your link claims the top 1%, who own 99% of the wealth in this country, only pay 40% of the taxes.

So they own 99%, but only pay 40%.

And not a single rich person is ever going to thank or acknowledge you for defending their wealth.

^Triggered, lying dumbass doesn't know the difference between wealth, and income. :palm:

2) not all wealth is income

Right! Which makes it even worse that 99% of all assets that determine wealth are collected by just 1% of the population.

So since they own 99% of the wealth, shouldn't they pay 99% of the taxes?

the top 50% of income earners pay all of it,

Right, but among those top 50% of earners, how much is paid relative to their wealth?

Because the further up the income ladder you go, the less you end up paying relative to what you already own.
