I heard a guy who left his position in the service because Trump is nuts, says Trump is planning a huge attack on Iran, likely including thousands of boots. His original plan was to whip Iran in 3 days, then do Cuba. Trump is ultra-expansionist. He figures, why have a powerful army if you are not going to use it? Daffy said the same about nukes.

Military power is far more complex than simply bombing from above, and the world is not rushing towards a lawless order based solely on force.

Diplomacy and rational dialogue still matter.

Despite the dangers facing billions of people because of the Israeli-American aggression against Iran, and despite global pressure for a ceasefire to prevent unprecedented economic turmoil, all that seems to matter to America and Israel is the pursuit of total victory.

It has now become clear that such a victory is impossible.

America had complete control of the skies in Vietnam, Korea , Iraq and Afghanistan. How did those wars work out? We also had control over the seas. The people who are defending their families and homelands and have nowhere to go, fight very hard. Soldiers sent from their homes to fight in foreign wars that they do not understand end up following orders and counting the days until they can go home.
Bombing infrastructure, hospitals, schools and homes is no way to move the people to your side. Trump is a simple man.
