European buyers eye Canadian LNG via Panama Canal amid Iran war – Reuters​


European buyers, including Germany’s Uniper, are exploring the possibility of purchasing liquefied natural gas from Canada’s Pacific coast and shipping it through the Panama Canal as part of a long-term strategy to diversify supply, an effort made more urgent in the wake of the Iran war, Reuters reported citing two sources familiar with the matter.
 

Iran’s 10 Strategic Demands Are the Basis of Any Agreement​



Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, presented a comprehensive account in a televised interview, outlining the military and political developments of the recent conflict. He framed Iran’s “10 demands,” approved by the Supreme National Security Council, as non-negotiable.

Ten demands as the unchangeable framework​

Ghalibaf began by expressing sympathy for families who lost loved ones, stating that the claim for war reparations has not only been preserved but have been clearly defined in ten key points that now shape all high-level decisions.

He stressed that these demands are not subject to compromise from a position of weakness, and that any negotiations will strictly operate within this framework. Public awareness, he added, is a fundamental right, making transparency a duty for officials.

Attack during negotiations; a repeated pattern​

He noted that the opposing side once again initiated military action in the midst of a ceasefire, describing it as a continuation of a recurring pattern.

Ghalibaf highlighted the speed of Iran’s response as a defining feature of this war. Unlike previous engagements, where reactions were delayed, this time Iran responded almost immediately, despite the loss of top commanders.

He described this as evidence of structural resilience and improved operational readiness.

He pointed to significant progress in military capabilities, particularly in air defense, offensive power, and, most notably, operational planning.

These advancements, achieved within a short timeframe, surprised the American attackers and were clearly effective.

@Damocles should seriously just create a subforum for the spam bot type posters here who just spam bump their own posts and threads constantly as this type of thing, left unchecked DOES drive away normal users.

I cannot believe that your alleged opoostion to the tyrant Trump is genuine. It is evidently quite ineffective.

I find the hypocrisy of Americans puzzling because they simultaneously decry Iran's defensive limits on Internet access during a time of existential crisis, yet want the reach of others limited.

If you engaged in the forum and read any one else threads and posts you would see that arguably there is not one person more anti trump and who argues against his supporters here.

Your argument is weak. I am not a "bot". Your allegations and opinions are illogical. I have been acquainted with this forum for many years, unlike yourself. Nor am I here to "argue". Many online web forums are declining in membership. TikTok, Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter have subsumed many of the functions formerly served by "bulletin boards". This forums' participation has not altered very much since I first encountered it many years before you discovered it.

I find it ironic that Americans who pretend to champion freedom and decry "censorship" sing a different tune when they are faced with anything that offends their arrogant assumptions.

90% of your posts are you talking to yourself. You post and reply and reply before anyone else can share a view

As I said, there is reason most forums ban it and that is not because it is good or effective.

Correct. They are valid because they are valid.

I have told you I object to all spam bot type posters, left or right, as they ruin forums and that is validated by the FACT almost all forums have rules against it.

Your views are not binding upon others because you say they are.

I have seen no evidence of your claims about "objecting" to anyone's views but mine.

This forum, like all others, has not demonstrably been degraded in any way that you can substantiate by anyone's participation.

Perhaps you might be happier at one of the "other forums" that you mentioned (but failed to identify).
