Trump Humiliated as Ships Defy U.S. Navy Blockade

Iran outsmarted trump... Which turns out to be an easy accomplishment.
Let's be honest; how difficult is it to outsmart the Dementia Don?

There's a reason why no President since Carter has been stupid enough to start a war with Iran as both Tulsi and General Caine advised Trump. Reagan joked about "Bomb, bomb Iran" but ended up negotiating with them trading Hawk missile air defense systems for hostages. Trump? He thinks he's always the smartest man in the room and went against the advice of experts.

Is the Dementia Don so far gone that he's deliberating trying to worsen the Midterms for the Republicans?
Time until some MAGA moron claims Trump is playing 5D chess: 10...9...8....

They are running!!!!

Yesterday they were watching on a website where ships were?

Nice try on their part, but Navy E-2s and USAF E-3s can scan for ships down to the size of rowboats and transmit the data to correlate with the international global tracking system. Any that don't match would be interdicted. Since such ships are in violation of international law, that might allow the Navy to board them or, if they resist, put a round across their bow.

Enforcing the blockade is likely to demand significant resources from the U.S. Navy and could prompt concerns about military force and international law, experts say. Supply chain analysts, meanwhile, stress that the restrictions could undermine the flow of oil, fertilizer, food and other goods to consumers already facing higher prices.

Crude tanker passes Strait of Hormuz despite US blockade – AP

A Malta-flagged crude tanker has passed west through the Strait of Hormuz, despite the United States blockade of Iranian ports, the Associated Press reported, citing a global shipping tracking monitor.

The Malta-flagged VLCC Agios Fanourios I is expected to arrive in Basra, Iraq, on Thursday, where ports are not under a US blockade, according to MarineTraffic.

trump mostly outsmarts himself. The world is learning to step back from trump and allow him to do what he will to himself. he cannot be reasoned with. he cannot hold a thought in his head long enough to honor an agreement. Working with him is pointless.

There are interviews with him when he was running for President in the 1980's where he said he would steal Iran's oil. Even back then, he had no plan, just a desire. It is one of his few consistencies.

The most plausible scenario is that Mr Trump does not know what he will do this autumn. This is a president who was willing to commit America to war like a jazz musician settling down at a piano, confident he would find the right keys at the right moments.

I think The Economist is correct on this. trump assumes that this will all magically work out for him. he lies the most to himself about his past, and about his probable future. he does not believe hard work, or knowledge is necessary for him.
