FBI Director Kash Patel has insisted he has the “evidence” to finally prove President Trump’s long-standing claim that the 2020 election was rigged against him, and hinted he could make it available this week.
Patel – who was hit by allegations of alcoholism this weekend, sparking rumors he could soon be fired – told Maria Bartiromo on Fox News’s Sunday Morning Futures: “We have the information that backs President Trump’s claim.
“I can’t get ahead of the Department of Justice and the president, but President Trump… President Trump speaks truthfully when he says that.”
“Stay tuned this week,” he urged Fox viewers. “You might see a thing or two.”
Trump claimed his defeat to Joe Biden in November 2020 was the result of a nationwide conspiracy to fix the outcome, inspiring a short-lived “Stop the Steal” movement that culminated in the attempted insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on January 6 2021, in which his supporters stormed the legislative complex to try to prevent the formal certification of the results by Congress.
Trump’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, had lost a string of court cases attempting to establish wrongdoing in the run-up to the riot, and its aftermath saw the president impeached for a historic second time and more than 1,500 people prosecuted for their involvement, only for their actions to be pardoned in 2025.

No. I think the strenuous objection to any change that would produce such confidence produces far more erosion. When 80% of the voters think something would be good, but one party strenuously fights against it to protect the status quo it hurts far more than Patel saying this...

I believe that change would add confidence to a system that folks on both sides believe needs some shoring up.

I think that if the change were made, supported by a supermajority of both parties, it would go far into shoring up any objections in the future.

Yes, I realize that Democrats don't have anything good to vote for, and that they are driven by their hatred, but there's no way that over 81 million people voted against Trump.
You're right... it's not.
It just plain doesn't make any sense (outside of election fraud occurring) that voter turnout saw a truly historic spike for "Joe Biden" (who was the puppet for the Autopen that actually ran the show), even above and beyond the voter turnout spike that was seen for "Black Jesus" (Obama).
Then Trump gets a historic win in 2024 (77.3M votes), and that total is still 4M less than what Biden was claimed to have received (81.28M) even though the voting-age population grew. Why did many MILLIONS of "people" "turn out" for 2020 but "stay at home" for 2024? Why was there LESS turnout in 2024 than in 2020 (even though voting-age population grew)? Was Biden truly THAT much more loved than Kamala or Clinton or even Obama?

You are arguing for "feelings above facts' in a group that will NEVER FEEL elections are secure and do not require more changes and tightening until they never lose an election.
You are simply in denial if you do not understand that this "confidence" you are trying to reach is ONLY achieved when Democrats can no longer win any core elections.
That is not hyperbole and is is the driving FACT behind this wave of "confidence". How can you prove that? By seeing that in any State or area magats win that "confidence" exists and is fine.

In states and areas where magats win the magats can be "convinced" the system works. It is nothing more than that.
It is 100% results based thinking and if every change Damo thinks should be instituted now, resulted in Dems still winning, not one current magat would have more "confidence" in the system and they would demand the next wave of changes to shore up their "confidence". An unending string of changes that only stops and "Confidence" only gained once changes are made where Dems simply cannot win.
