Authorities in Chicago are investigating a shooting at a McDonald's drive-thru that killed a 7-year-old girl and left her father severely injured.

The shooting happened Sunday afternoon in the city's Homan Square neighborhood, claiming the life of Jaslyn Adams.

WGN-TV in Chicago reports the little girl was known as "Pinky" to relatives.

Officers arrived at the scene and found Jaslyn clinging to life. She was placed in a patrol car and rushed to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.


Jaslyn's father, Janate Adams, also sustained gunshot wounds in the shooting. He was taken to the hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

Police say he will likely recover from the shooting.


Relatives told WGN-TV that Jaslyn and her father would often go to McDonald's on father-daughter outings.

Jaslyn, who was a student at Cameron Elementary School, loved to dance and made Tik Tok videos of her moves and routines.

Jaslyn is also survived by her mother and three siblings, the station reports."

now if she was shot by a white d00d or a "white hispanic" this thread would be on page 10 by now. Seems the left only cares about black victims when they are shot by police or white people

Possibly....but it does say two suspects jumped out of another car and opened fire....I wonder if the other 2 deaths and 22 wounded that weekend were cases of mistaken identity as well?

it actually doesn't the fact is 95% of our gun problem illegal guns in the hands of criminals is not something the left ever wants to talk about.


Do you know what my governor did? he signed legislation to end gun violence by banning .50 cal weapons.


Can you cite a single gun crime involving a .50 cal?

Looks like it might be a case of mistaken identity unless they know the car license. The windows were tinted so it'd be hard to see inside.

Chicago police say the shooting is believed to be gang-related. The vehicle that was shot up had tinted windows. It’s possible the shooter(s) didn’t know a child was in the car.

I love how the story writer assumes that these savages would have paused if there was a child in the car as if they think people willing to murder other people have morals.
