I do not claim the media is liberal (except CNN and MSNBC) in their reporting. Many of my conservative friends claim "I bet the mainstream media doesn't report that story" and I tell them I read it in the media. I ask them how they know it wasn't covered if they don't read the media and they say they heard it on Limbaugh, Fox, etc.

However, many corporations are liberal based on their campaign contributions. Apple gave 86% to Democrats. If you are only talking only about the media the publishing industry gave 82% to Democrats, Internet gave 79%, TV/Movies/Music gave 84%, Lawyers/Law Firms gave 75%.

Also, academic studies have long shown journalists are heavily liberal Democrats although that bias is not always reflected in reporting measured by the amount of stories/time given candidates during campaigns or negative/positive stories about candidates (except Obama).

No. They are free to accept funding from any group they want. I don't think PBS is going to turn down funding from the left or right. You are projecting.

Not true. If a right-wing site runs lots of stories about illegals who commit crimes, those may be accurate facts but there is a bias in what stories they tend to report and push.

I said nothing about Fox. They are as bad as MSNBC--designed for people who want their own views reinforced and too lazy to read newspapers.

I did not complain about them reporting the truth--read carefully. I said I don't think most of the media have a liberal bias except CNN and MSNBC.

If you don't think those have a liberal bias you must be blind and you would not be watching them if they were not.

Yes, but being corporate does not mean being conservative or liberal. In 2016 Clinton got a lot more corporate contributions than Trump including 3 times as much from the oil and gas industry and 96% of journalists contributions.
