wrong, bitch. we are not energy independent, for one thing. and that XL pipeline has nothing to do with our energy independence. it is a payoff to the Koch Brothers for financing the GOP, stupid bitch.

October 2020 Import Highlights
Monthly data on the origins of crude oil imports in October 2020 show that one country, Canada, exported more than one million barrels per day to the United States (see table below). The top five exporting countries accounted for 86% of United States crude oil imports in October while the top ten sources accounted for approximately 94% of all U.S. crude oil imports. The top five sources of U.S. crude oil imports for October were Canada (3.4 million b/d), Mexico (472,000 b/d), Saudi Arabia (276,000 b/d), Colombia (196,000 b/d), and Ecuador (154,000 b/d). The remaining top ten sources, in order, were Russia (145,000 b/d), Iraq (121,000 b/d), Brazil ( 80,000 b/d), Angola ( 66,000 b/d), and United Kingdom ( 45,000 b/d). Total crude oil imports averaged 5.3 million b/d in October, which was a decrease of 104,000 b/d from imports during September 2020.

As recently as 2008, Americans were paying high costs for gas and there was handwringing over the need for US "energy independence."
But quietly America has achieved a form of energy independence, with net energy exports eclipsing net impo
rts.

STUPID FUCK. DO YOU EVER KNOW WTF YOU ARE BLATHERING ABOUT?

BIDEN NOW ALLOWS YEMEN AND OTHER TERRORIST DOMINATED STATES TO SEND TERRORISTS HERE, WHICH TRUMP HAD ENDED.

NOW THE HUMAN TRAFICKING AND DRUG RUNNING CAN BEGIN ANEW AT THE SOUTHERN BORDER, WITH BLITHERING BIDEN'S ASSWIPE MOVE THERE.

GREAT JOB ,IDIOTOCRATS!!

again the house daddy fag has no clue what hes talking about , not surprised .

As of February 2020, the bulk of the share capital of TC Energy is owned by 488 institutional investors, who compose 62% of the stock. The dominant shareholder is the Royal Bank of Canada, which owns a fraction over 8% of the company. The Big Five (banks) together own more than 17% of the outstanding share capital. Significant holdings accrue to the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and the OMERS.[43]

the-united-states-was-energy-independent-in-2019-for-the-first-time-since-1957/U.S. energy production in 2019 was higher than U.S. energy consumption for the first time in 62 years. Thus, the U.S. attained the long-held goal of “energy independence”—which is not to say that we did not import or export energy, but that we produced more energy than we used. One can thank the oil and gas industry and its use of hydraulic fracturing and horizontal drilling for that milestone as production in those industries increased a combined 11 percent in 2019. Total U.S. energy production increased by 5.7 percent in 2019 while U.S. energy demand decreased by 0.9 percent. The United States produced 101.0 quadrillion British thermal units (quads) of energy and consumed 100.2 quads last year. Fossil fuels accounted for 80 percent of both energy consumption and production in 2019.

seems house fag daddy has no clue what he talks about his finger must be busy playing with himself instead of doing any research about America or the truth

STUPID FUCK. DO YOU EVER KNOW WTF YOU ARE BLATHERING ABOUT?

obviously, you don't, bitch. we export jet fuel and processed fuel of that type, but we import millions of gallons of oil each day, stupid bitch. did you ever learn to read? from this OPINION piece you sourced-

The big caveat to US energy "independence" is that while the US now exports more energy than it imports, it still imports a lot of energy. Those imports are the feedstock for refineries or fill specific roles that US primary production of energy can't quite manage, and they will always be there...even if the overall picture is one of US net exports.

For instance, not all blends of crude produced in the shale patch are useful for all types of refining; it can also be cheaper to import crude or refined products to specific parts of the country depending on a variety of temporary factors which are constantly changing.

and this-

Net petroleum trade is calculated as the total imports of crude oil and petroleum products minus the total exports of crude oil and petroleum products. In September 2019, the United States became a net petroleum exporter for the first time since monthly records began in 1973.

The United States is a net importer of crude oil. In November 2019, the latest monthly data, it imported 5.8 million b/d of crude oil and exported 3.0 million b/d of crude oil. The United States is a net exporter of petroleum products (such as distillate fuel, motor gasoline, and jet fuel). In November 2019, the United States exported 5.8 million b/d of petroleum products and imported 2.2 million b/d of petroleum products.

https://www.bicmagazine.com/industr...becoming-a-net-petroleum-exporter-most-regio/

(what this shows, dickhead, is we pollute our coastal cities in dumbfuck red states that allow all these refineries, like louisiana and texas, and then export that as jet fuel and the like. fuck up our environment so rich oil guys can make more dough and get huge tax subsidies. dumbass.)
