That's what we did during Obama and it was perfectly fine. Let them go stay with the people they know and feel safe staying with until their court date. There were several Obama-era programs that kept track of them after they were caught...those programs had high success rates and could have been expanded, but then a racist Nazi was elected President and put an end to those effective programs.

For those who arrive who do not have people they can stay with, put them in dorms, hotels, wherever, but just treat them with dignity. Don't put them in cages and make them sleep on floors like dogs at the pound. Surely we're capable of that.
