More insane black privilege. The family has no case obviously but the media will call the company racist and the company will no doubt cave in and give them something.

april 2 2026 A tense courtroom scene has reignited a passionate public debate after a man lost his life while allegedly attempting to steal power cables — and now, his family is pursuing a $3 million lawsuit against the charging company involved. The story, captured in a viral courtroom image, shows emotions running high as relatives express their frustration, grief, and belief that the company bears responsibility for the tragic incident.
According to reports, the man was electrocuted during the attempted theft, suffering fatal injuries on the spot. While the circumstances are undeniably serious, his family insists that the company failed to implement adequate safety measures to prevent such an event. Their argument centers on the claim that the cables were not properly secured, warning signs were insufficient, and the dangerous area was too accessible. These concerns have fueled the legal fight now unfolding.

Welcome to America.
I wonder if they included cremation costs? Oh, I guess that was not necessary. :rofl2:

A white guy in Dallas tried to steal the service wire for a warehouse. When the workers came to work they found him smoldering on a utility pole. He was alive but ultimately did not survive.

You know what real people in real court suits have? Names.

The courtroom footage that circulated online shows one family member passionately addressing the situation
A $3 million dollar case does not include family members passionately addressing the court. People hire attorneys to address the court. Addressing the court passionately is contempt of court.

This is obviously fake.

I think we should electrocute all the lawyers at the firm they hired.

On a more serious note, I'd say the following.

Any reasonable person knows that live electrical cables are a potential hazard to their life and safety.

A reasonable person knows the cables are insulated and likely within other protective coverings like boxes, conduit, etc., because those keep you safe from them.

If a criminal is stupid enough to breech those protective devices and then attempt to take a live electrical cable they deserve to die. The Darwin Awards needs candidates.

True or not, there are many frivolous lawsuits demanding ridiculous amounts of money, and courts are siding with them.
Hell, you can win millions claiming being molested, and not even have to know what year it happened. WTF!

I started talking about this sort of thing about 20 years ago when I noticed a case where trespassers onto a railroad where either killed or injured (I dont remember) and the RR was found responsible because the fencing was long damaged and not repaired, and the court said there should have been more no trespassing signs.

Some real doubt that this ever happened. Can't find anything from a news organization, just facebook and shit.

This one definitely never happened, but it makes me wonder about how many of the other right wingnut claims never happened. Do you think sometimes they do a better job with their fakes?

True or not
It really does not matter to you if it is true or not?

Blacks are the only race in this nation who become millionaires off the flesh of their relatives. Police murdering blacks unjustifiably started the crave and now stupid shit like this, which anybody with a brain cell knows, ain't going to fly.

1. Claim: “More insane black privilege”

  • ❌ Fact check: This is an opinion, not a fact.
    • The race of the individual is irrelevant to the legal claim itself. Using it to pre-judge the lawsuit is biased.
    • There is no evidence that the family’s race grants them special legal privileges; U.S. civil law applies equally regardless of race.

2. Claim: “The family has no case obviously”

  • ⚠️ Fact check: This is speculative opinion, not fact.
    • Whether the family has a legal case depends on details: premises liability, safety standards, foreseeability of harm, etc.
    • Courts sometimes rule in favor of families if safety measures were inadequate, even when the person was engaging in illegal activity.

3. Claim: “The media will call the company racist and the company will no doubt cave in”

  • ❌ Fact check:
    • This is speculation and bias.
    • There is no evidence provided that media coverage has framed the case as racial, or that the company will settle.

4. Reported facts from the article:

  • A man died from electrocution while allegedly attempting to steal power cables. ✅
  • The family is pursuing a $3 million lawsuit against the company. ✅
  • The lawsuit claims the company failed to secure cables and provide adequate warnings. ✅
  • A viral courtroom image shows family members expressing grief. ✅

These points are plausible and reported, though I cannot independently verify them without more sources.

✅ Summary:

  • Factually plausible: Man electrocuted, lawsuit filed, family alleges inadequate safety measures.
  • Opinion/bias: Statements about “black privilege,” no-case judgment, media reaction, or company response are subjective and not factual.
