Booker is a vegan, but he doesn't want to stop Americans from eating meat

Cory booker wimped out and showed that he is not ready to lead. If factory farming is destroying and hurting our environment as he concurred that it is, why not advocate for the solution and educate the folks you claim you want to lead?

This is why we need a Progressive and not a Centrist which nowadays is actually Republican-lite.

How about as a first step, we require all food stamp purchases to be vegan?

The body naturally craves meat (beef, fowl, pork, organs, egg yolks, etc.) and whole foods (fewer than 4 ingredients on a label),
healthy fats (non plant based oils like olive, coconut & avocado) also from walnuts, pumpkin seeds, almonds
and full fatted dairy like heavy cream, butter, plain Greek yogurt
and healthy carbs from dark greens (kale, bok choy, spinach, cabbage, etc.)

This is why you're almost universally laughed at here. The body doesn't 'crave' meat, dipshit.

You're the only one claiming that he doesn't advocate for solutions and educating people.

You're attributing positions to him that he doesn't necessarily have.

It was a missed opportunity to advocate for something that is an easy thing to do considering the fact that we are facing the crisis of climate change. It appeared to me that he was pandering and was afraid to take a bold position.

He is NOT republican light

stop being a fool

he made a choice

He knows Americans will make their own choice

its called freedom

regulating industry to meet our needs is better than shit talking your fellow Americans in an attempt the SHAME them into agreement with YOU

Bahahahahahahahahahahaha!
Since when do you care about freedom?
:rofl2:

he is educating

so why you hating on him?

You seem to jump the gun at times. Where did I say I hated Cory Booker? By pointing out a flaw? Sorry, but he missed an opportunity and then made a joke out of it to boot.

I would support ANY Democratic candidate over Trump but Booker is not Progressive or bold enough for my support during the primary.

Do you ever get anything right? HUMANS crave protein. Protein comes in many forms--always has. NOT JUST MEAT. Now perhaps you have your own definition of MEAT. (Republicans have their own definitions of everything else).

One does not get all 9 essential amino acids (building blocks of protein) from plants.

The PROFOUND stupidity on this board never ceases to AMAZE...

WALMART PRICES
Price of ONE pack of 8 hot dogs, 15 OZ. - $3.24 - .405 per dog
Price of ONE pack of 8 tomatoes (varied weight) beefsteak/vine ripe tomatoes - .44 per-.48 tomato x $3.50 - $3.80

Yes, you could probably survive on 2 or 3 hotdogs a day with or without the bread. You will starve on 2 -3 tomatoes a day.

Which is more health?

1 GAL of whole milk $2.99 - Walmart
1 liter bottle of soda $1.79 - Walmart

He'll have plenty of time for advocacy, and has never been an in-your-face sort of speaker. Hell, even coming out and stating he's a vegan is an advocacy of sorts.

I have no idea why he is a vegan and maybe he could have elaborated on that point but he chose not to. I do not dislike Cory Booker but debates are places where you get a better idea of candidates on many levels and IMO, Booker dropped the ball on this issue at a critical time.

Yes, you are pretty darn stupid.

Choosing to compare hot dogs to tomatoes and whole milk to soda... wow. Just wow. You really are as Truth Detector likes to say, a moron on steroids.

How about some sensible comparisons?

Price of ONE pack of 8 hot dogs, 15 OZ. - $3.24
Price of one 14 ounce block of tofu - $1.98

The comparison of milk to soda, well that's the dumbest thing on the entire internet.

It's more than just any protein. They made the new impossible burgers using a protein of meat we often crave called hemoglobin.
