None of you have ever asked me my position on whether any candidate should release their tax returns.
Of course I believe they should. Why wouldn't I? It's not like any of the candidates I support have dealings with shady banks and corrupt Russian oligarchs.

Your premise is flawed. Barr has not "whined" and he has not said he needs an "indeterminate" amount of time. You are the one whining that you want to see it NOW. You haven't earned that accommodation. You are a nobody in this process.

You have never stated it before today. I never asked you if Trump should but you felt compelled to tell me. I never asked you what you thought about Barr's summary, but you felt compelled to tell me.
Your "you never asked" excuse falls short. Unless of course you are now going to hold all of your opinions until I ask you first?
Barr has given several excuses for why he won't release the report.
The reason is obvious; releasing the report would expose him as someone trying to cover it up.
Barr has no intention of anyone other than himself and Trump seeing the report.
Whitewater and Watergate reports were both released and both included grand jury content.
Also, if everyone is free and clear from this report, how would anyone be harmed by having the report fully disclosed?
Why can't it be released NOW?
Thing is, you're demanding I accommodate Barr's summary of Mueller's report.
I refuse to accommodate that.
Until you release the report, the doubt will only grow.

They have told you why it can't be released now. Grand jury testimony needs to be redacted. National security issues need to be redacted.
