Christie says Trump can't stop himself from lying.

Obviously some of these guys, RJ.

I went for almost two decades with only one person (crazy person) on my ignore list in other forums.

Here, I now have four on my list. People who just cannot converse reasonably...who only want to throw discussions off track and throw childish insults.

I'm not against insults. Winston Churchill and Dorothy Parker flung them with style. But some of the stuff that happens here is from the schoolyard.

Stockyard is more like it:fuckthatshit::fuckthatshit:

Lost in the debate over whether President Trump should talk to Robert Mueller is this: The arguments against him doing it often betray a remarkably dim view of Trump's intellect.

To his credit, former New Jersey governor Chris Christie was rather blunt Sunday in making the case for Trump refusing the interview. Christie said flatly on ABC's “This Week” that he worried Trump wouldn't be able to stop himself from committing perjury (comments start at 8:47 in video above):

He should never walk into that room with Robert Mueller. Because in the end, one of the things that makes the president who he is, is that he’s a salesman. And salesmen, at times, tend to be hyperbolic. Right, and this president certainly has tended to do that.

That’s okay when you’re on the campaign hustle. That’s okay when you’re working on Congress. It is not okay when you’re sitting talking to federal agents because, you know, 18 USC 1001 is false statements to federal agents. That’s a crime. That can send you to jail.

This kind of argument has become rather common when it comes to Trump, but let's step back for a second and focus on what Christie is really saying: He is saying that not only is Trump prone to hyperbole because he's a salesman but that Trump can't be trusted to tell the truth even when not doing so constitutes a felony. Christie is basically suggesting that a 71-year-old man who happens to be the president of the United States can't differentiate well enough between truth and fiction (or what Trump himself has called “truthful hyperbole").

This is a lie; I just watched the Christie interview. Please link us to this specific statement or just admit you are a lying leftist with a severe case of TDS.

We keep hearing this moronic crap, yet no one can tell us what crimes Trump has committed. Banging a porn star? STFU shit-for-brains.

Even Repubs are getting concerned about Trump. Christie was a big fan when he was running. But Trump acting like he has ,has dismayed many former followers.

Can you imagine having to defend this fucking moron day in and day out like the right wing minions do on this forum?
Got to be the hardest job in the world.

It's actually very easy. I can't imagine being a liar like you every day of my life and waking up to that fact that you're never right and a loser. It must suck which is why you project your loser life onto Trump.

:rofl2:

Trump seems to be driving the "blue wave" of Democratic victories in special elections. It's looking more and more as if that will continue through the 2018 midterms. Not sure if that's a good thing or not. I don't think either party is good for America.
With the current 10 year stalemate in Congress, neither party is particularly 'good' for the country.

At least Democrats aren't blatantly bad, as the trump klan is.

I don't have confidence in either party to make things right. Both parties are wasteful spendthrifts. I guess the best thing ideally is for the opposite party to have the majority in Congress as the party in the WH.
But the bottom line is we need to get that orange turd out of the WH. He's just a freaking unhinged lunatic.

I have a bit more understanding, if not confidence, in the difficulty of decent governance.

That last part needs repeating, though, Don...so:

The republicans could've picked good leaders like John Kasich or Rand Paul for the nomination, yet they had to go with the Orange Turd. A big reason I'm no longer a registered republican.

We just have to keep reminding Trump that he's not a king.

If we get the turd out, then we have Pence, who's much more dangerous. We just need majorities in Congress to block the trump agenda for two more years.

Pence is a puppet and will do what Paul Ryan and the other senior republicans tell him to do. He's not dangerous. Trump is light years more dangerous than anybody else.
The guy's a fucking moron.
