Trump will not stand a chance on a debate stage with an actual policy wonk debater.

This is why he is faking some kind of fear of Biden so he is going after him with falsified crap and propaganda. Biden has too much baggage and even if none of it is/was illegal, Trump will use it for propaganda and fabricated garbage.

Trump at a debate: Screams and bellows, makes fun of people, uses small words to make yuge promises, insults the moderators and other candidates.

Good read, thanks. I mostly agree. I also wish Bernie would hang it up. I like Warren too, but isn't she 70 now? Why aren't the younger candidates doing better in the polls?

Trump fears Biden because even though he's not Obama, he's still got a bit of that Obama luster to the (D) voters.

Biden's luster will fade very quickly due to his baggage that the article does not even touch on all of it. IMO, Warren has the mojo and experience and her age is not that big an issue especially when we don't know who she would choose as a running mate.

I might agree with that if Trump was talking openly about investigating Biden before the whistleblower exposed him. The reason he asked Ukraine for help and then tried to keep it a secret is because he really is afraid of Biden. It was only after this became public that he decided to double down, like he always does, in hopes that the Republicucks would claim he did nothing wrong. It was a last resort.

They just did not want to let the cat out of the bag prior to the actual election on the chance that Biden was the candidate. But as soon as their treachery was exposed they had to play it a bit differently. Also, Trump is likely very unnerved right now which is why he is reaching out to ANYONE ANYWHERE for ANYTHING that will keep the rubes supporting him throughout this impeachment process.

Bottom line is Bien as the candidate give them more fodder than all the rest combined and they know it.

wrong dumbass, biden has always been the biggest threat to trump. he plays the best in the midwest and with the voters obama lost to trump.

I think the fact that Trump is even more unhinged than usual is evidence that he never wanted anyone to find out he was asking Ukraine for help.
If he had a slightly functioned, he'd realize that Biden would be his best case scenario. But he really is too stupid to realize that and too childish to listen to the people around him, who are probably telling him to sit down, shut up, and hope Biden gets the nomination.
