How Can McConnell and Graham Take Oaths Of Impartiality?

Both have already made public statements of being partial.

What a crock if they are allowed to swear impartiality with no objections.

Justice Roberts, we are counting on you.

Reject both of them!
The House has already shown total partiality, Snowflake.

What comes around goes around.

This is smash-mouth pure politics and the Democrats are about to be smash-mouthed.

Get over it.

Lets be clear.......this is a situation where the "jurors" have been hearing all the evidence that's out there for the last three years......if you think there is someone in the United States of America who hasn't already made a fair and honest decision on the facts, you're a fucking idiot.......and if you think that decision is Trump is guilty you are dumber than a fucking idiot.....
Indeed, the case that the House sent is weak, very weak and will be disposed of shortly.

Hello Darth,

Right lol?

If this were an actual trial, it would have to be moved to another location because they would have to eliminate so many people from the jury pool for being biased against the defendant.

Impartiality is a joke. And everyone knows it.

Impartiality is certainly a joke for McConnell and Graham.

They should both recuse themselves.

They make a mockery of impartiality and taking oaths of office. No wonder they are Trump* sycophants.

Hello dukkha,

recall the House farce where Republicans got little due process but justified that as a political action instead?

Now the Dems are calling for impartiality! On what planet need the Senate listen to any of that!

Trump* could have sent lawyers. It was his decision not to.

Trump* could have appeared, taken an oath to tell the truth (for a change,) and testified at the House. It was his decision not to.

Trump* cannot claim he was denied those rights.

The Senate determines the witness list.

Why didn’t the House Democrats call them then?

By a simple majority, the Senate controls the witness list.

Get over it.

Sanders , Warren , Klobuchar are running against Trump and Booker and Harris have publicly called for Trump's impeachment. So They should recuse themselves to.

Exactly what I was about to say.

This is not about the truth at all. Like every other coup attempt, witch hunt, and hoax since the moment Trump declared his candidacy, this was as rigged, biased, and unfair as possible from the beginning...and now they cry about "fairness" while ignoring the blatant conflicts of interest, contradictions, and the fact that Democrats are the only ones who actually did what they're falsely impeaching Trump over.

But Schiff and Pelosi are totally impartial.

Pelosi lied when she said there should never be an impeachment without non-partisan support.

Yes, she lied.

Pelosi lied when she said there should never be an impeachment without non-partisan support.

Yes, she lied.

Bill Clinton: Accused of 11 separate felonies by the House. Pelosi: Impeachment is "unnecessary."

Donald Trump: Accused of zero crimes. Pelosi: Impeachment is "urgent," "no one is above the law."

Sound familiar?

Clearly, unless Trumpf manages to overthrow all thoughts of democracy in the 'States, all historians will condemn the shameless Republican liars for swearing false oaths. The question is for how long they can get enough mugs to believe their lies.

Well that is not true either, it wasn't the Democrats during the inquiry who made it their goal to attack the process more so than any of the content, taking orders from Donald, they knew their job was to do their best to turn it into a reality TV show, now it is Mitch's turn to continue the design, which no doubt he will and make Pelosi happy

You're full of shit as usual; Arsecheese. You're nothing but a lying political hack.

True, and judges are political, you really didn't think beer ball Bret was selected cause he was an outstanding jurist did you?

Beer ball Bret? And you wonder why no one takes your bullshit seriously Arsecheese. You're nothing but a lying political hack.

Well "pp" show us, show us where a Senate Democrat said they knew exactly now how they will cast their vote in the Senate before the evidence is delivered. Show us where any Senate Democrat said that they would be working with the impeachment managers to get the verdict they wanted

If you can't, you are showing us that you are full of shit, your turn

I'll keep posting it for you because you are a despicable lying political hack.

Impartial??? These comments are before there is even a trial:

Sen. Chuck Schumer of New York, called anew for fresh evidence and testimony from key White House officials for the Senate impeachment trial.

"What is President Trump hiding?" Schumer said Monday.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) declared in April that President Trump ought to be impeached over the findings of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report — even though the report absolved him of so-called “Russia collusion”

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) supported an impeachment inquiry in May, calling the president a “pathological liar” Sanders added that he wanted President Trump impeached — before an inquiry had been completed

Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) has suggested that he will vote to remove Trump for allegedly violating his oath of office

Sen. Michael Bennet (D-CO), a lower tier candidate, has already suggested he will vote to remove Trump

Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), who recently dropped out of the race, supports removing the president from office:
Trump is pressuring another foreign government to dig up dirt on a political opponent.
We need a new commander in chief—and we need to absolutely begin impeachment proceedings. He’s gotta go

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), an earlier dropout from the race, supported impeachment enthusiastically, leaving little doubt that she, like her colleagues, has already made up her mind to vote to remove Trump from office:
The House should begin impeachment hearings immediately.
Enough is enough.
We can’t let the president abuse his office for political gain without accountability.

I have to laugh at leftist asshats and the PHONY media bloviating about a FAIR trial. Morons.

If House Democrats were impartial, they wouldn’t have sent the *historically* thinnest articles of impeachment*—passed along straight democrat party lines, to the Senate.

And they expect Senate Republicans to be impartial lol? Under the circumstances, it’s to their great credit if they can manage to be. There shouldn’t be a single witness allowed. If House Democrats were confident enough in the articles to pass them, they should be voted on as they stand.

This is bullshit on steroids.

Really? You come back with an opinion piece from a right wing paper as documentation and expect anyone to see it as anything other than an opinion piece from a right wing paper?

Really? You come back with the same old diversionary "attack the source" fallacy and expect anyone to see it as anything other than your standard attempt to avoid the debate? :bs:

And his sources were vindicated, while yours were discredited, on:

-the Russia collusion hoax,
-the "Investigating Biden's corruption is worse than Biden BEING corrupt" hoax,
-the Covington Catholic hoax,
-the Roy Moore pedophile hoax,
-the Kavanaugh rape gang hoax,
-the "repealing Net Neutrality will destroy the Internet" hoax,
-the Jussie Smollett hoax,
-the Charlottesville "very fine people" hoax,
-the Duke Lacrosse team hoax,
-the fake Ukraine transcript hoax,
-the Trayvon Martin hoax,
-the "Trump admitted to sexual assault" hoax,
-the "penises cause climate change" hoax,
-the "uninsured crisis" hoax,
-the "Trump denying passports to Latinos" hoax,
-the multitude of college hate crime hoaxes,
-the "Mission Accomplished" hoax,
-the "deceptively edited video" Planned Parenthood hoax,
-the "children in cages" hoax,
-the Michael Cohen perjury/contacting the Russians hoaxes,
-the SPLC "hate group" hoax,
-the "Trump mocking people with disabilities" hoax,
-the "you can keep your doctor" hoax,
-the "immigrants are rapists, criminals, animals" hoax,
-the Kavanaugh "white power symbol" hoax,
-the "Trump asked Putin to hack the DNC" hoax,
-the polar bear dying from climate change hoax,
-the "Trump made it easier for the mentally ill to purchase guns" hoax,
-the Scaramucci Russian bankers hoax,

-the "Hillary exonerated" hoax,
-the "white privilege" hoax,
-the voter suppression hoax,
-and the "hands up don't shoot" hoax.

Try again, dishonest demagogue.

I love how Democrats believe that "impartiality" means "believe what they say and do what they want you to, or else".

 It is incredibly pathetic. More so when you consider their adamant defense of Clinton who had actually committed impeachable offenses.

And they don't even think it's wrong to be lying liars before they even heard all the evidence.
