Absolutely they are. They are all valuable and needed. They fact that you don’t respect these valuable professions is more of a reflection of your ignorance of how those fields contribute then it is of their true value.

You also might consider that highly valued fields in health care, including Doctors, allied professionals, medical technologists, registered nurses all have considerably more education than plumbers and electricians and on average earn more and are dominanted by women. Are you saying male plumbers and electricians are more valuable than these female professionals? Are you saying plumbers and electricians or engineers are more valuable then the women who dedicate themselves to raising and educating our children?

Doctors are the biggest bandits in the country. Worse than lawyers. I avoid them and yes i do think engineers are more important than doctors.
