For downwardly mobile musician Kid Rock, 2026 has been a year of nonstop Ls. Still, the proud Tr*mp supporter only has himself to blame after defiantly casting his lot with the losing side in the war for America’s soul.
In February, after Turning Point USA announced a pathetic rival halftime show to Bad Bunny‘s Super Bowl performance, 55-year-old Kid Rock was naturally the first (and only) choice. But after having some rancid Epstein-style lyrics resurface and barely making it through a lipsync of his set, things didn’t go according to plan.
Most people would have cut their losses then and there, but not Kid Rock. Instead of quietly returning to the hole he slithered out of, he forced us to reckon with a video of himself and RFK Jr. chugging milk in a hot tub.
After being dragged for that disaster, you’d assume he would have finally had enough humiliation for the year. But sadly, this was not the case. This week, we learned that Kid Rock, who persists with his MAGA-aligned Rock the Country Tour, is suffering from a case of low–very low!–attendance.
In addition to facing smaller crowds and sadder lineups, Rock the Country has now managed to piss of its few remaining fans. You know, the ones who were suckers enough to pay full price. Again, we’d feel bad for these people if they weren’t in such an embarrassing position to begin with.
