When US unions first came into being ... they were bulwarks in combating evil. However, after the combating ... unions themselves became the evil. Ever heard of "POWER CORRUPTS ... "

What is true is that once ownership got together. not one good word was written in papers or said about unions in many decades. Papers broke the unions and consolidated. That was not for competition. It was not to make us better informed.

Unions got into trouble because so many were so corrupt, and they killed jobs.

I do not care that they support unions, and I think strong unions are good for AMERICA. I just don't want the government telling private business how to run their business.

You would have to define "strong union" for me to agree with your statement... The Labor Unions of today are not always the unions That you might be thinking of....

That was terrible. Adoration? Can you slant your post any worse? Undying support? Unions created worker safety and benefits that were passed on to almost all workers. They also have internal problems that need to be addressed.

I'm sorry you take issue with my post...Have you ever been a union member? I was...for many years.... My experience? The "internal problems" too often overshadow the good they Should be doing for their members....
