It would cost a minimum of 10 trillion just to upgrade the US grid to put in ten of thousands of miles of new transmission lines and to make it resilient enough handle unreliable renewables like wind and solar. The current grid is totally incapable of handling many millions of trucks, cars and public transport all charging their batteries overnight. Where are all the cobalt, lithium, rare earths going to come from? Much of which is in the hands of the Chinese who can shut off supplies almost overnight. They did that a few years back in 2011 by forcing the prices of rare earths like neodymium and dysprosium and praseodymium.
Solar is even worse; Solyndra, Ivanpah and Crescent Dunes have all gone broke at a cost of at least $10 billion to the taxpayer. Solar panels are a huge environmental catastrophe in the offing. Where are they all going to go when they are to be dumped and what happens to all the hazardous elements like arsenic and cadmium. Come to that what happens to the huge number of wind turbine blades as well?

In the first debate, Biden interrupted first, Wallace interrupted second. They set the precedent. Then Wallace couldn't stop talking and grandstanding, and it became the Chris Wallace Show, not a presidential debate.
Trump made it into a normal lie fest. He cannot tell the truth. Trump kept using the conspiracies against Biden. Normal people do not know them.
