Most Unequal and Segregated Places in America

Fair enough. But these are the politicians you generally support and talk about signing people up to vote for.

I've never Voted in a Chicago Election ...

I've only lived in DuPage and Kane Counties, that are 20 to 60 miles west and South West of Chicago

You do know Illinois has had Republicans Governors who were instrumental in the States failures.

This is about zoning laws and cities. Zoning laws are made at the local level

Richard Florida is Canadian and considered one of the premier writers on cities in the world. This helps explain the divide in where we live in America.

We hear a lot about economic inequality and economic justice yet it rarely gets discussed how much decisions at the local level play in it.

The discussion is worth having today just as it's been every day in the past. Why would you not want to have it? Why do you think these progressive cities have land use laws that need the federal government to step in and stop this essentially discrimination?

Shields up. Red Alert. Fire all photon torpedoes at the source!!!!!!!

It is no secret that the most segregated school systems in the country are in liberal cities. This is a by-product of congregating and walling off the poor and that none of the desegregation stuff ever applied to those cities. The end result is an economic based apartheid system rivaling Jim Crow laws.
