Being a threat means different things, you midget-minded dumbfuck.

Iran never stopped being a threat as far as funding and encouraging regional terrorists is concerned

But we had their nuclear development under control until your orange retard hero came along.

Too bad you low-educated rednecks can't process multiple concepts at once

Maybe you wouldn't be so gullible and easily taken in by the trump's of the world.

Fucking rubes.

if Obama solved it, as you retards pretend, why are they a threat? some agreement. we have an agreement, but they remain our biggest concerns?

US must realize it cannot enforce its vision on Iran’

We’ve spoken to Hassan Ahmadian, associate professor at the University of Tehran, about Trump’s claim on Tuesday as he announced the extension of the ceasefire that the Iranian government is “seriously fractured”.

Disagreeing with the claim, Ahmadian said “the institutionalized system in Tehran is up and running despite the assassinations of the top echelon of its leadership and commanders”.

He added: “They fought a war for 39 days, and they were successful in denying the United States any achievement on the ground, and they accumulated new strategic points.”

Ahmadian said the perception within Iran is that any talks with the US has achieved nothing during the fighting.

“The United States was denied any achievement in the war, and it has to come to terms with the reality that it cannot enforce its vision on Iran – through military means or diplomacy,” he said.

“Diplomacy is give and take. It’s not imposition,” he added, referring to Witkoff previously saying the US president is “curious” as to why Tehran has not “capitulated” during Washington’s military build-up in the region.

US emerges ‘biggest loser” in war on Iran

A Spanish political analyst says the United States has suffered its most significant political, economic, and geopolitical losses in the war on Iran, arguing that Washington has emerged as the primary loser of the conflict.

According to Eduardo Meneses, heavy military spending without tangible results, rising global oil prices, and a growing rift with European allies have all contributed to weakening the US position.

In a report carried by TeleSUR TV news network, Meneses said Washington has faced clear setbacks in multiple fronts, adding that “to preserve its hegemonic power, the United States appears to have little option left but war.”

He noted that US military strategy in West Asia is tied to broader efforts to maintain global dominance in the face of rising powers such as China. The ongoing ceasefire, he said, offers Washington a chance to regroup, reassess its strategy, and mitigate the damage sustained during the conflict.

Meneses stressed that the United States is not genuinely pursuing peace, but rather using the ceasefire as a temporary pause to reorganize, replenish resources, and develop new strategies aimed at weakening Iran.

Highlighting military shortcomings, he said Washington has failed to achieve its stated objectives, many of which were unrealistic from the outset.

Threats by Donald Trump to “destroy an entire civilization” did not materialize, and efforts to bring about regime change in Iran have also fallen short.

Contrary to some media narratives, Meneses argued that the Iranian government continues to enjoy broad public support, with society demonstrating a strong and unified response in defense of national sovereignty.

On the economic front, he described the United States as the biggest loser, pointing to soaring oil prices driven in part by disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz.

He added that the war has also led to increasing distance between Washington and its European allies.

The United States and Israel launched their war of aggression against Iran on February 28, 2026.

Iran, acting in self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter, has carried out missile and drone attacks targeting Israeli positions and US bases in West Asia.

The Persian Gulf country has also maintained control over the Strait of Hormuz to ensure the security of the vital waterway through which nearly 20% of the world’s energy supply transmit.

Go play your double talk deflection bullshit games on someone else.

I said the Obama treaty had their NUCLEAR PROGRAM under control.

Your petulant idiot man-child came in and destroyed it because he had had no part in it.

Anything else Iran engages in, is a different matter.

Trump portrayed ceasefire extension as plea from Pakistani mediators

The only subject that Trump has essentially discussed since the announcement of the ceasefire extension was a social media post indicating that he believes the ongoing blockade is an essential piece of leverage to persuade the Iranians to come to the negotiating table.

But when it comes to the whole series of events that led up to the extension of the ceasefire – well, nobody knew what was happening.

The vice president’s plane was sitting on the tarmac waiting to leave.

The president’s close advisers, Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, were sitting in Miami waiting to fly direct to Islamabad.

And then, in the course of the day, things seemed to get more and more uncertain.

Vance came to the White House, along with the advisers who flew up from Miami.

The whole national security team gathered in the West Wing of the White House.

All indications are that nobody who actually came to the White House knew what the result was going to be.

Was this meeting going to end in a renewed declaration of war?

Was it going to result in an extension?

Now, Trump portrayed his decision as a consequence of a plea from the Pakistani mediators, rather than a reluctance to renew the conflict and extend the war, which is deeply unpopular and is also deeply damaging to the president and his Republican Party.
