The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born

There ya go, paleface. You've been endorsed by a moron. Haw, haw........................haw.

The only way you would know if someone hates his/her country is by their speech, right? So wouldn't deporting them because you don't agree with their speech violate the first amendment, since it would have to be the government doing the deporting?

I was just going to write that! Great minds... ;)

IOW, you don't think that a person needs to have consistent beliefs or that their behavior should be consistent with their expressed religious beliefs. IOW their supposed religious beliefs are meaningless.

You miss the point. I am saying one person cannot declare another person is hypocritical about his religion because he favors deporting illegal immigrants while the Bible says be good to foreigners. There many ways to interpret both views as consistent with his religious beliefs. That person making the claim is just using religion to attack religious views.

Certainly I think a person's religious views and behavior should be consistent, but I can't determine whether anyone meets those standards. Certainly somebody else should not make that determination; especially when they are simply using it as an excuse to attack the person's views in a self-righteous approach.

Neither person is meeting any Biblical command to be good to foreigners regardless of their views about immigration laws. They are both doing nothing to help the situation.

I personally believe most people's beliefs are not consistent with their behavior and have trouble remembering that should not be a criticism of religion but how humans apply religion.
