Never say he didn't, but it was pretty clear from the offset why Trump wanted Sessions gone, he didn't cover his Trump's ass, don't you remember Donald saying if he knew Sessions was going to recuse himself he would never have appointed him

Never said he admitted anything either, but if you listen to the entire speech you'd see that he feels Trump is being picked on and it is his job to defend him, in other words, act as his personal attorney, why else would he jump at the eleventh hour into the NY case when it involved Trump's taxes before Trump was even a candidate?

And of course he can make the decision, but having that power doesn't make his decisions correct

Horowitz is an Obama holdover. His summary ignores all the negative e-mails and phone messages that were being sent around and it ignored the FACT that they attempted to set up people like Papadopoulos and based their investigatory launch because of that bias.

The crazy conspiracies pushed by the Reichwing media perfectly jibe with Trump's and the Trumpanzees' confirmation bias. Sure there is corruption in our govt. just as there is in all large and motley collections of ppl close to power and money. It's so much easier to claim the nebulous "Deep State" is behind everything that's wrong, than it is to do the hard work of ferreting out the corrupt and getting rid of them. Often this will involve removing ppl that we personally voted for and supported. It's nearly the same thing as having to admit you had a lapse in judgment and chose poorly. Hence believing in an invisible boogeyman is easier and less personally painful.

IMO one of the worst things a leader can do is convince his/her ppl that the very agencies charged with protecting us from enemies internal and external are corrupt and wrong.

one of the worse things a congress can do is put national security at risk because they can't seem to get over a democratic election result.

and that's exactly what they are doing, and what the American people see

trump is the President, has to deal with world leaders on issues we have no idea the extent of, and for these leaders to make decisions based on trumps word, while witnessing his own people ridiculing him, calling him a liar and a corrupt leader not only stymies those negotiations, but very well may lead to something catastrophic for the country. We live in dangerous times, we need a focused, legitimate leader at the helm

For the record, the IG report actually said: "We did not find documentary or testimonial evidence that political bias or improper motivation influenced the decision to open Crossfire Hurricane." Iow, no witch hunt, no Deep State conspiracy.
