Repukes are so good at messaging and discipline. "Drain the swamp" That's a brillant tagline like Maga. And these people are like trained seals.
Arf arf arf.... Throw a juicy slogan with an undertone of hate and resentment and they'll clap their flippers and work it into every post almost subconsciously, just as "right" just did.
Totally meaningless on the facts, but taps into all those negative emotions the pols have so carefully cultivated in the minds of people who are the most privileged sons of bitches on

The problem with that is that God doesn't vote. He imparts wisdom on those who seek it.

As wise people and voters, we don't care about what's in the heart, nor should we. That's God's dominion.

We care about behavior and character in judging one's adherence to the Christian faith. On just about every level, Donald Trump does not measure up by any stretch of the imagination .. an irrefutable demonstration the God isn't even on the ballot. An irrefutable demonstration that a great many people who talk and preach about God couldn't care less about what God thinks.

Exactly. That's why I said that I wasn't looking to vote for a pastor.
 
This is what partisan rationalization looks like.

It's like when Democrats try to justify a war or military action when a Dem is POTUS.

But, with Trump, the GOP has conceded morality, family values and honesty as issues for a long, long time.

All men are flawed. None without sin. I think what is fairly put at Trumps feet, is not his sin, but his lack of decorum. Obama the angry faced, but eloquent orator (when he had his teleprompter) was much less likely to grate the ear of the audience. Obama’s bragadocious style was always couched in a sort of banal cultured rhetoric- Trump’s is just openly brash and blue collar colorful.
