Trump wildly lashes out again; is he sane?


Thin-skinned Donald Trump is taking aim at Fox News commentator Jessica Tarlov after the TV host highlighted Trump's low approval rating.

During an appearance on "The Five" on Thursday, April 16, Tarlov noted that Trump "has a 35% approval rating in most polls."

"The guy has been in office twice," Tarlov, 42, continued. "No Americans wanted the tariffs. They didn't want the war in Iran, and they don't want the ballroom."

"I am watching one of the least attractive and talented people on all of television, Jessica Tarlov," Trump wrote in a Truth Social post Thursday. "Her voice is so grating and terrible, I had to turn her off!"

Trump also claimed that his approval rating "among the best poll numbers I have ever had", saying the Fox News host's "soundbites are FAKE."

"She makes up poll numbers, and nobody challenges her because she is so boring," Trump wrote. "I have among the best poll numbers I have ever had. ... Get her off the air, she is bad for our country!"

Congress agreed Friday to briefly extend an expiring warrantless surveillance program, after a restive group of House Republicans refused to go along with efforts to reauthorize the controversial law.

Many members of the conservative House Freedom Caucus are troubled by aspects of the program that they say could infringe on Americans’ privacy rights.

Democrats have also expressed fears that, without better safeguards, the law could be exploited by the administration to spy on people and groups who oppose President Donald Trump.

The 10-day extension, which the Senate approved hours after an overnight session in the House, will allow Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) more time to seek a compromise in the lower chamber with skeptical members of his party.

Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) permits the U.S. government to collect from American communications firms the texts, emails and phone calls of foreigners living overseas, without a warrant. It is due to expire Monday.

“I am willing to risk the giving up of my Rights and Privileges as a Citizen for our Great Military and Country!” Trump lashed out on social media.

Trump raged in a social media post that he “desperately needs FISA 702, and it is one of the reasons we have had such tremendous SUCCESS on the battlefield, both in Venezuela and Iran.”

Why shouldn't Trump call out Tarlov? She's full of shit, and lying. Trump is not at 35% approval in any poll, let alone "most polls".

A recent The Economist/YouGov poll found that just 38 percent of Americans approve of the way Trump is handling his job as president, while 56 percent disapprove.

Most Americans don’t back the war that Trump and Israel waged against Iran, according to the poll. Just 32 percent of respondents said they support the Iran war, while 55 percent said they opposed it.

A majority of Americans also said they disapproved of how Trump was handling tariffs shortly before the Supreme Court struck most of them down.

A total of 64 percent of Americans disapproved of the way Trump imposed sweeping tariffs on imported goods, while just 34 percent approved, according to an ABC News/Washington Post/Ipsos poll.

Most Americans also opposed Trump’s $400 million White House ballroom.

A total of 56 percent of Americans opposed the ballroom and just 28 percent supported it, according to a poll conducted by The Washington Post, ABC News and Ipsos.

Again, cite all the left-wing polls you want, it doesn't mean shit. I showed you what the RCP average is, and even that is only at 42% because of outlier leftist pieces of shit.
