Nope. No dignifying a racist post like that. Better to ridicule her publically.
A racist white woman calls a Black tv anchor a nigga and NOVA and other racists wants to deflect to Blacks calling other Blacks niggas.
Please, I don't play that game.

BAC tried to explain it to you, but I see, to no avail...in post 51I'm all for dialogue when it's based on truth. Not some ridiculous notion that Blacks call other Black niggas and the white man doesn't like it because he can't.
That conversation doesn't repair nor help to forward the discussion on race relations. It's a bunch of hog wash.
"All you white men to me are racist until proven not".
Sorry, but I don't automatically trust white people, they have to earn my trust and respect. And there are several white men and women on this board who gets that, and they have earned my respect.
I will use the same play book they do. Blacks are guilty until proven innocent. I feel the same about whites.
I didn't call her anything. I don't use the word...
But, if she was feeling partly oppressed that day and felt the need to share her private emails on air...well, that's kind of sad...
That's not her job. It's not her personal platform. She was very unprofessional, in my opinion.
She should have replied to the email privately...
@ BAC in post 1....
Honestly, this video made me realize that I must be remarkably shallow and insubstantial....because all I could focus on was how effing beautiful she was! What the heck was she even talking about?? (j/k)
Undoubtedly, all reasonable people can conclude this racist is a Trump supporter. What is it about the Republican part that is alluring, that draws, and provides safe harbor for vile, degenerate racists? I mean, I know the Dixiecrats defected to the GOP in the 1960s....but this is the year 2017. What is it about today's GOP that is so alluring to deplorable racists? Why do racists feel they have safe harbor and share common cause with the Republican Party? I am sure there is a simple answer to this question, but I have never seen a conservative offer one.
For those who need a bit of context behind this story, Atlanta has just held its mayoral election where race has played a huge role.
Atlanta has had black mayors and black leadership for over 40 years .. and it is in those years that Atlanta has boomed into the Jewel of the Southeast, providing jobs and opportunity for its citizens and surrounding communities. Atlanta is the best thing going in an otherwise poor red state.
Today, Atlanta attracts a growing white population, and this election was an opportunity to elect its first white mayor since 1974. Kathy Norwood, who calls herself an independent was that opportunity. Norwood, a closet republican, calls herself an independent because she knows, and has stated, that there is no chance in Hell of a republican being elected in Atlanta. So the race was not just about race, but also political ideology.
In the end, Norwood lost, and whites like the one Sharon Reed responded to are losing their minds about it.
The election was close and a recount is underway, but Norwood has been here before, losing to the current mayor by similar margins .. asked for a recount .. picked up one vote.
There you have the backdrop.
Is that woman a racist? That is an ignorant thing for a professional to do...
Probably the same with the 'N' word....strange to me that blacks use the word as a term of endearment.....but so be it...
BAC tried to explain it to you, but I see, to no avail...in post 51
Seems to me you're more racist than not....
If you didn't understand us grown-ups having an adult conversation, butt out.
I doubt that you will, either. They just do not want to admit that their leaders pander to the lowest common denominator. It's all about votes and power. Racists vote. The GOP subtly feeds their fears of being overrun by brown people, female people, non-Xtian people, immigrants (legal and illegal), etc. "They're going to take your jobs," "They're going to get elected and change things in their favor," "They're going to institute sharia law."
But this also makes an assumption that because one votes Democratic they aren't/can't be racist and that's just simply not true.
It's about taking back a hurtful powerful word and turning it around -- disarming it. You've probably laughed at the Blue Collar Comedy guys, right? They mock themselves and sometimes use the word "redneck," particularly Jeff Foxsworthy and his "You might be a redneck if...." jokes.
But this also makes an assumption that because one votes Democratic they aren't/can't be racist and that's just simply not true.
Are you out of your fucking mind? That was without a doubt the most professional way I have ever seen anyone deal with something like this. Calm, collected, cut that Kathy Ray bimbo off at the knees and let her own ignorant email take care of the rest.
I have no idea who you are TOP, but wake up and smell the fucking coffee. Now would be good.
Cracker comes from slaves who were afraid of their white masters coming to "crack" the whip on them.....hence cracker was born.
You don't like the word nigga, then you need to blame your ancestors for labeling Blacks that during slavery.
All the other nonsense words you claim are a racial slurs, are nothing more than the white man trying to falsely equate their racial hate of Blacks to others.
Besides, you don't really give two shits what Blacks call each other.
Don't agree so much, she should have sent her an email back explaining her ignorance. Doing it publically is more about virtue signalling. That's my opinion anyway.
We live in the age of PC,where everyone is offended by everything!
