CRT isn't history; it's a perspective on racism in the US...and a perspective that is flawed IMO. Although I'm against banning it, I'm also not a supporter of teaching it....at least as a stand alone theory.
Most of the "white privilege" bullshit is simple democracy. 13% of the population is African-American. About 60% is Euro-American and about 19% is Hispanic, which is a culture and a blend of South/Central Americans and Euro-Americans.
Rounding that off, in a room with 10 people, 6 are white, 2 are Hispanic and, 1 is black and 1 represents everyone leftover. In a vote to name a science building with the choices of Albert Einstein, Luis Walter Alvarez, George Washington Carver or Chien-Shiung Wu, if Albert Einstein wins, is that "white privilege" or democracy in action? Hint: It's democracy. Only the race-baiting assholes claim it's racist.
