It's hard to say what will happen 17 months from now, but as it stands right now, the GOP is not in any position to win back any of those so long as it anchors itself around a two-time popular vote loser.
The GOP has to defend 22 seats in the Senate, two of which are in states Trump lost in 2020.
The Democrats have to defend 14 seats, none of which are in states Trump won in 2020.
GOP party identification has dropped to its lowest level in a decade.
You might think you're entitled to winning back control, but you need a platform to run on that appeals to a majority of voters and the last 2 national elections we've had, the GOP has had no platform...which is why they lost the House in 2018 and lost the WH and Senate in 2020.
