Fattest counties in US

Fresh fruit and salads are just as easy if not easier (and cheaper). Canned tuna or salmon on mult-grain bread is quick and easy. There's tons of other examples.
"Bad habits are easy to acquire but hard to live with. Good habits are difficult to acquire yet easy to live with."
You're making excuses.

Excuses for what? I am not obese nor do I eat junk food. I'm merely pointing out what the causes of America's fat epidemic are, especially in the South. Try to stay on task, as hard as that is at times.

I wish it was that simple for everyone, genetics play a big part, metabolism of one vs metabolism of another. I know a couple that workout together, cardio, weights, and eat lots of foods I would not touch. He is 5'10" and 165, she is 5'6" and around 185 last time I heard. She looks exactly like her mother. While living healthy and eating healthy don't hurt there are no guarantees.

Every time in the last 125 or so years that the US military has had a draft, the areas of the country with the highest rejection rates (about one in three draftees were rejected overall) were the South and Eastern urban cities. Health issues both physical and mental were the most common reasons. So, the South had more fat and stupid people, while in cities it tended to be stupid crazy people.

Dynamics change. What? We ended the draft 48 years ago?

Fat slobs and crazies are everywhere now!

that's what I thought, you never back up what you post

Disagreed. I'll be happy to live with what others think about veracity of your claim....regardless if they post it or not.

Sane, intelligent and educated people know you are lying, kid. If you try that shit at work, you'll never get anywhere except mediocrity.

Good luck with your career, son....such as it might be.

I probably woulda joined the Air Force, Coast Guard or Navy or gone into the Peace Corps or thought about running to Canada. Definitely woulda got the college deferment, then on to professional school.
Hard to say. I wasn't old enough. Bush joined the Air National Guard, didn't he?

Definitely a more honorable way to go.

Yes, Bush joined the ANG, but he missed a lot of drills and was allowed to get away with it. My guess because he came from money.

A draft for the reasons I've discussed before should have no deferements. Everybody goes. Yes, even the spazs, gimps and geeks. The point is get American kids out of their comfort zone, do some public service along with learning about American culture and civic duty.

Although I'm against "free college" like the Democrats always want, I do support programs finding ways to make education cheaper (more online seems best) and giving kids who complete their civic duty time easier access to college.

My suggestion is: 2 year mandatory service, 1 year of college per two years served. Government supported education while in the service, via online and base testing center. A person can choose to serve four years, have already completed their first two years of college education while serving via night classes/online/CLEP then, upon honorable completion of their contract, leave for college and graduate by age 24.

Such people, IMO, would be better Americans than a lot of the self-serving assholes I see on tv screaming about their "rights" meaning they want to restrict the rights of others.

That's how, yes, but WHY? It's got to be a cultural thing. You know how Californians are mostly into looking fit and trim? Same with Colorado. Even up here we don't see nearly the obese ppl that we did in Missouri.

Connected to a lot of other issues, just like anything else really. Poverty, lack of good diet education, and an over dependence on fast-food go hand in hand.

Here in TN I see people pass up healthy options all the time because "McDonald's is cheaper" even though that's not true.

My career is great, we don't hire uncapable people like you, so there is none of this crap

No surprise you ignore you own obesity epidemic in San Diego. Hypocritical fuck.

In San Diego County, 1 of 3 children is overweight or obese. Here’s how we can help.
San Diego is growing but not in a good way. In San Diego County, more than 1 out of every 3 children were considered overweight or obese in 2019, the year for which the most recent data is available. By comparison, more than 1 in 5 children in the United States are obese, according to a new report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The CDC says the percentage of children with obesity in the United States has more than tripled since the 1970s. If this trend continues, the health implications for the nation are ominous.

No doubt your daddy has a great company and that you are doing super awesome with your executive office, limo and supermodel girlfriends.

To be fair, I wouldn't apply to a company run by anti-American assholes seeking to overthrow our government and the past election by any means possible then install a tyrant.

BTW, if you had any brains, you'd know such a coup would never work out for the pro-Trump idiots.

They telephoned .12% of the population and asked them questions when we know how poor the quality of the work the polling industry does now and also how big of liars people are now...that is their "data". It could well be that the parts of the country that are more honest (the South?) get penalized.....its not like we have not seen that before.

I take a pass.

If polls are inaccurate, how come both parties and candidates all make use of them?

US Army should just stop wasting their time recruiting in the South.

They are just to fat to fight and defend the nation

The fattest people in America are black and by a wide margin

Asian — 12.6 percent; Black — 48.4 percent; Latino — 42.6 percent; and white — 36.4 percent.
