If Kelly is the honorable person he claims to be he needs to go on record as to the general tone and tenor of Trumps remarks on our armed forces....honestly.

So far he has not met the bar.

Dude, be careful about what you are asking; While I agree on the premise, it means that every honorable officer needs to go on record if they have any personal information on Trump.

Traditionally, US generals and admirals do not comment about political matters unless running for office or before Congress. That tradition is negated if the general or admiral in question is called a liar. It's up to the slandered/libeled officer to choose the time, place and manner of their response.

You really dont need to fall all the way down the slippery slope immediately. If the troops are being lied to about what their commander thinks of them then for sure Kelly needs to set the record straight, that is the honorable thing to do. If the President clearly despises the military like Obama does then we all have a right to know that before we re-elect him.

I think Kelly would lie because like the other assholes he thinks Americans need to be told by the government what to think, not tell the government how they think..

Yes. Any ranking official that is making this type of claim needs to stand up. This is not an accusation one makes anonymously. If it is true, there is not a veteran I know, Trump supporter or not, that would support him. There is a lot at stake here and unfortunately I would not put it past the Democrats to be making this whole thing up. The truth needs to be told.

This is actually a potential problem.

The upper echelons of the military establishment have ‘their reasons’ to not be fans of Trump apart from saying whatever he allegedly said.

If Trump really thought the military was full of ‘suckers’ he wouldn’t care to send them off to die in some foreign shit hole like so many of his predecessors have. And he wouldn’t give a shit about helping veterans out by signing legislation to help them.

Trump—like Tulsi Gabbard, are a threat to the military establishment. Everyone else will play along to get along. Biden would be putty in their hands.

Four years into this, one would think people would be cautious about buying into anonymously sourced Trump ‘stories’ but apparently some people are slow learners.

Or maybe they’re ‘a little too eager’ to believe some things. As far as I’m concerned, if anonymous story tellers lack the balls to do a simple like say ‘yeah it’s me, I made that claim’ then their ‘story’ isn’t worth much.
