Fox News says Mueller report did NOT clear Trump

LMAO. When the DOJ is acting as the president's personal legal team, POTUS is above the law. Why do you think he hand picked the moron who applied for the job via a dissertation re. POTUS' immunity from prosecution?

All the more reason Mueller should have laid out the case for indictment. Fyi... The President ALWAYS hands picks the AG. Always.

POTUS is not above the law. By rule the DoJ decided to wait on indictments until after the President is out of office. In part BECAUSE he hand picks the AG and the DoJ is under the executive branch. Hence when out of office, the NEXT President appoints a new AG. Thus removing conflict of interest. The AG is supposed to look after the President and advise him/her.

“Look after the President”? :rofl2:

Despite what you morons think, the AG no more “looks after” the President than the WH Counsel is the President’s personal attorney.

Barr is a deadhead Trumpy, who works for Trump not the people and not the justice department. He was hired because he sent a letter to Trump showing he backed the Imperial Presidency. His job was supposed to be representing the US in legal matters. He thinks blowing Trump is his full time job.

New American:

"Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s 22-month-long investigation of alleged Russian collusion and interference in the 2016 election is summarized in a 448-page report released (in redacted form) Thursday. The wait is over; now the frenzy begins. Enemies of President Trump have claimed — since before he was even elected — that he colluded with Russia. The report, however, makes clear that there is no evidence of those claims. And it fails to provide sufficient evidence of obstruction."

The left is just pissy because Barr isn’t Jeff Sessions lol.

The AG is also the most important check on the intelligence apparatus. I say ‘most important’ because oversight is the job of Congress but they’ve become dysfunctional bodies.

IOW, if the AG so much as suspects there’s a chance illegal spying was done on a presidential campaign the AG has a *responsibility* to investigate it—whether the president likes it or not, because his first responsibility is to the constitution and the people—not the president. Barr isn’t there to protect the president *but the office of the presidency*.

I remember a time when liberals would be cheering that sort of thing on. What happened to them?

Polls.

Yes polls can be wrong. do you know when the last time any of them had the democrat beating the republican in Texas?

Correct. But never because he 'needs a Roy Cohn'. He/she would typically choose an AG based on merit...not 'loyalty' (trump's word).

You just explained why Mueller left it to Congress to go after trump. Given that, it shows that trump is still obstructing justice. You also agreed with me that POTUS is above the law. Once he's out of office, he is fair game, which is why trump is desperate to win in '20 and run out the clock on S.O.Limitations.

I would like to see someone take the ‘ten instances’ of obstruction and try them in front of a jury lol.

I really would.
