There are laws for that already. How does this prevent a lunatic from committing atrocities? The gunman in Vegas is the best example. No history of mental illness, guns purchased legally, not criminal background or run-ins with the law.

You've seen me, here in the forum, speak up and speak out about the many frustrations I have with the way our political leaders have been acting in Washington.

I am not like some of you people who arm themselves, with thoughts of overthrowing our government or shooting my political enemies some day, just because I'm frustrated with the stalemates!

i would love stalemates, eternally. when stalemates are happening, congress isn't stealing any more of our freedom. and something you might want to think about....it's not about overthrowing our government, its about restoring our government.

The left released mentally Ill patients into our streets to become homeless beggars. They felt that institutionalization was inhuman. Apparently, letting them sleep in their own piss and excrement is more humane in leftist dumbfuck land.

If we continue buying into these failed leftist ideas, we will continue having severe human problems. The leftist ideology is the REAL danger to this republic; not a few mentally deranged nut bags everyone chose to ignore.

CORRECT; Congress was designed explicitly to make getting things done hard. I always laugh at willful idiots who demand Congress do things.
