I think they serve a useful purpose. They called Mueller a witch hunt but we learned how Russians interfered in 2016 and convicted many people of criminal activities just as Benghazi and the email investigations discovered activities which can be corrected for the future. Horowitz and Durham are revealing irregularities about the FISA process. Learning the facts may help destroy all the conspiracy theories surrounding this stuff.
And I'll ask again then, if everyone knows who the whistleblower is as the right tells us, and there exists no law preventing anyone exposing his identity, why hasn't Trump persoanlly attacked the person like he does everyone else? The House has the power of the purse and they passed a bill sending the money to Ukraine. Trump stopped it without having the authority to do so. Trump does not know or care about the powers. I realize that, but with 100+ contacts with Russians by people associated with the campaign who then lied about it, there was reasonable cause to investigate. They found no coordination, but that does not mean it was not useful for catching many involved in criminal activities. The indictment of the Russians revealed in detail how they got into the DNC computers and attempted to influence the election--read the indictment against the Russians.
The whole Crowdstrike-server hoax. Crowdstrike (a California company not owned by a rich Ukranian and traded on Nasdaq) made an image of the information and did forensics on it (as described in the indictment of the Russians). This image and the forensics was made available to the FBI and Comey told the Intelligence Committee this information. There was never a missing server. Crowdstrike also did the analysis of the computers when Sony was hacked and one of their customers is the RNC.
"contacts"with Russians is a terrib;e reason to investigate. Manafort and CArter PAge or ex had normal business contacts . For that to open a counter-inteeligence investigation is a travesty of justice and a threat to civil liberties

The fact is the Dem house has passed over 350 bills and sent them to the Senate. The Senate is actually not doing anything but naming post offices and appointing unqualified judges. Moscow Mitch sits on every one of them. Even bills that are near-unanimously agreed upon sit.

Schiff decided to have a focus group because QPQ wasn’t resonating with voters [why would anyone expect it to?] and that’s when they changed it to bribery.
Think about that: rather than pausing to consider the possibility they were over-reaching on this, Democrats had a focus group. An impeachment focus group. How anyone can still convince themselves this isn’t a political hit-job on a president is beyond me.

Anything Trump said while not under oath is only evidence of something Trump said, which we all know is highly suspect. Let him get sworn in. Then we will hold him to his word. If he is telling the truth, then that should be no problem.
And if he wants corroborating evidence, then we are going to have to hear from the key witnesses which have been prevented from testifying.
It is apparent that Trump fans do not want to get to the bottom of the story, do not want the truth, as much as they want to shield the President from accountability.

Well, the only apparent ‘truth’ is democrats are still looking for evidence lol.
And it doesn’t help matters that they can’t decide whether it’s a QPQ or a bribe. Sending this to the Senate with nothing but opinions and presumptions is nothing short of madness for Democrats. Now Jabba the Nadler wants Trump to testify [read: play along with the Democrats fishing expedition] in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
