Face Time Fauci dithers on school openings

Exactly. democrats are not for the any of the people. They are just out to enrich themselves. And they prove it every, single time. The power of free shit and the penchant for laziness in the typical modern day democrat keeps them in office.

You can say the same for a lot of them.

Get elected to the House or Senate and somehow manage to become a millionaire on a salary that falls well short of millionaire status. No wonder they don’t retire until they’re at deaths door—I wouldn’t either.

The voters, the working stiffs like myself can’t retire soon enough. The majority of them are in it for themselves.

Isn’t it amazing to find the right, who has trashed schools and teachers for years, claiming they were nothing but overpaid, glorified babysitters, pounding communist doctrines into the kids, are now screaming so much for schools to reopen?

When they have their own fucking spawn at home, trying to keep up on their little shitstain’s lessons, suddenly it becomes a different matter.

Fucking hypocrites.

Dems had nothing to gain by shutting down the economy.

They just erred on the side of life & health more than Republicans did. The "correct" priority can be debated until the end of time, as can the results of those decisions - but it's hard to fault putting life & health at the top.

What about the life, health and education of kids?

It was clear—early on, that COVID wasn’t a significant threat to kids. Then it became ‘well, what about the teachers?’

Well, what about them? What about truck drivers? What about cashiers? What about me, when I was working in healthcare? They had me thinking I might actually die from working my job back in late March. Come to find out that was nonsense and I had a better chance at winning on a 100k scratch off lottery ticket, but yeah.

With the collateral damage being done to kids there is no excuse. It’s been nothing short of a travesty.

Its been a complete collapse of responsibility, a symptom of the dying West. .

I don't really see the hypocrisy of acknowledging the importance of school and education while also desiring to improve/change/better it. There are a lot of issues with our current education system. But what we're doing now is having severe effects on a number of kids. And if you claim we should be driven by science and data we are not following it now.

Not Fauci's job.

They needed a more comprehensive set of experts. All of the things you mentioned should have been part of policy decision-making from Day 1. But we thought it would go from 15 to zero.

I don't know why people blame Fauci for anything outside of health recommendations related directly to the virus.

He’s very well compensated for directing our response allergies and pandemics lol.

If we don’t blame him who do we blame? Can’t blame Trump anymore.

The right has denigrated teachers and their profession for years. Claimed they are overpaid. On and on. Demeaning in every respect, when in fact, most are oblivious to the challenges teachers face every day. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, now the whining parents can’t handle it.

The science is when they talk about proper protocols. Those protocols can’t or won’t be in place or adhered to in many instances. That’s the science and the truth of the matter.

You’re trying to compare the environment a truck driver or a cashier works in versus an enclosed classroom of kids? Really.

We can blame Trump for awhile. The effects of his decisions didn't end on 1/20.

But it ain't Fauci. Fauci set no policy.

Are there individuals who have done that? Sure. But "the right"? No. (And going after the Teachers Union and their priorities is not the same as going after individual teachers.)

There have been global publications that have spoken about the safety and ability to go back to school around the globe. Private schools in this country have been open for month's. The science and data show that with proper protocols it is doable. So unless these schools in other countries, and private schools in America, are doing something that our public schools can't public school unions fighting to keep teacher's out of the classroom is not about science.

Biden has little if anything to do with schools being open or closed. Its up to the states and individual school boards. You are wrong again.
so why is B iden making "goals" for school reopening?
He keeps saying the money is the issue and parroting the teachers.
It's not,and they can open up even without COVID relief bill -but teachers union wont let them

Are all private schools open? Have all private schools opened without problems?

Simple fact contrarians ignore when it comes to private/public schools is that private schools can pick their students and either ignore or flush those they rather not educate. Makes most comparisons between the two impossible

And comparing businesses opening to schools opening is inane, businesses are dealing with adults, schools kids, pretty obvious you haven’t visited a school in a long time
WTF?
The fact most private are open shows it can be done, and without all the money public schools have
Here is Florida they have been open as long as I remember

business use partitions and social distancing -nothing fancy but effective, and schools can use the same

sure it's Fauci job. he's medical advisor to Biden
He has been running his mouth off - so if he chimes in he lets himself open for criticism

How long do you think you’ll be able to milk Trump lol?

Fauci made the ‘suggestions’ and the policies followed. The governors did the vast majority of implementation. The man’s word is nearly gospel.

amazing they are out to protect the Fuck up Fauci

duhhhhhh.......people with an IQ above a tub of sour cream know that this virus is fairly new, that the science develops as the data develops, that it is also mutating, which makes being totally sure about what is best practice more difficult. you are just too fucking stupid to understand how science works and develops, because you still have trouble figuring out how to tie your shoes and how to count to 20 without taking off your shoes and socks. you don't make a pimple on Fauci's ass, you trump loving piece of trump voter.

Must be nice being the highest paid bureaucrat in the Milky Way Galaxy and not be held accountable for anything.
