In 2016 we got dozens of mailings for Hillary even though I didn't donate a dime to her campaign. Then we moved up here (UP of MI), shortly before the 2016 election. We haven't gotten any political mailings at all, thankfully. Most likely though that's because there really haven't been any issues or elections outside of a school board one.
